On arrival we were greeted by Jane the proprietor, who was extremely pleasant and cheerful. We were offered a room upgrade for free and the entire premises had been freshly decorated, were extremely clean and in a quiet location within easy walking distance of the town centre and beach.
Janes husband Sergio the chef provided a superb English breakfast and nothing was too much trouble for them both.
Loved it and would definitely rebook without hesitation

Warm welcome from Jane, had the choice of up-grade on room which was a very kind gesture, absolutely spotless and a lovely view, Breakfast was as expected, cooked to perfection, definitely worth its 4 ☆☆☆☆, we would highly recommend staying here you won't be disappointed.

Really liked the Buckingham Lodge guest house, stayed for 3 nights with the wife , we really enjoyed our stay, lovely room ,great hosts,& amazing breakfasts will definitely book again ,highly recommend 👌 😀

The location was ideal, as we were attending a family event. The breakfasts were excellent - plenty of choice and well presented. Jane is a great host - always has time to help.

There wasn't anything we didn't like, from the moment me and my 10 year old arrived, we were warmly greeted, the lady helped with parking and in the morning the lady went above and beyond to make sure we had plenty of choices and options for food! Couldn't of asked for a better place to stay.

The hotel has a warm and welcoming feel. Jane is incedibly friendly and throughout our stay nothing was too much trouble. Location was excellent and met our needs. Breakfast was exceptional, particularly the muffins with hollandaise sauce.
The only downside was the parking, the drive is quite steep. Jane did ensure that by talking to each person staying the cars could be parked in an orderly fashion.

A very friendly comfortable b and b located up a small hill not far from the beach. The room was clean and the beds were extremely comfy. Breakfast was fantastic and nothing was too much trouble
Car park is not very accessible but easy to park on the road.

Was very comfortable and well decorated. Jane was amazing and couldnt do enough for us. Room was clean and had everything we needed. Shower was great. Location was perfect. Breakfast was brilliant and there was a range of choices. Especially enjoyed the bacon and other half loved the buckingham muff.
Can see parking being an issue if busy. A lot of mirrors in the room but thats just me being picky. Couldnt fault it.

Our host Jane was very attentive. Checked with us regularly to make sure everything was to our satisfaction. Place was very clean. Breakfast served was cooked well and fulfilling.

Have been coming to Torquay for many years & enjoyed my stay at Buckingham Lodge Guest House ! Very friendly hosts & made to feel very welcome
Maybe fresh towels daily but I certainly could have asked for them !!

Jane was fantastic. Very attentive to all our needs. Couldn't do enough for you at breakfast.
Hard to get phone reception which is not end of the world but made more important as WiFi was broken too.
