The house had all that we needed from kitchen utensils to games to beach chairs! Loved the sunrises and sunsets from the top deck. Spectacular!

The place was beautiful, well-kept, and accommodating. The host was easy to get in touch with and quite helpful. Our group had a great time and would certainly consider returning to this property in the future.

We had a great vacation with the family! The house was fully stocked and had so many bonus amenities that kept the family busy and entertained at all times. Cody was very communicative, answered all of my questions, and made the booking, check in, and check out process very smooth and easy.

Three sisters, two husbands, five children of the adults and four children under 8 had a wonderful visit. Nice facility but the star was the pool and the children improving their swimming skills and having a great time. When we arrived
there was a small problem with a drain not draining properly and the owners drove in to fix it quickly. All good.

Great location with lots of things to do for the entire family. We had kids from 2 to 18 and they enjoyed everything about the property. Adults also enjoyed the various decks, pool, kayaks, and location to the beach. We will definitely rent again when we need a big house like this. Thank you.

This was a good house in a nice location. Easy walk to the beach, the pool was nice and clean. It was convenient to have the private dock and access to the water right in the back yard! The owners were communicative and the check-in/out was very easy. Would stay again!

My family and I had a great weekend celebrating my graduation! Pool was cool and refreshing, and the hot tub provided a nice warm up for the cooler weather. Thanks for a great stay!

Loved the place, great location. Lots of activities and things to do in the house and outside of house. Rooms I'm great shape, comfortable, game room and pool table a lot of fun. Will try and stay again for sure!

This property was exactly as advertised and exactly what we wanted for our family reunion weekend. The house was spacious, comfortable and well appointed. There was nothing we needed that wasn't there. Check-in and communication with Cody was easy and convenient. We made lots of memories and would definitely return to this property for another visit!!

This is a lovely holiday home for an extended family beach vacation. The location is great with a quick 1.5 block walk to the beach, the pool is a great option, there are kayaks and paddle boards available, and the back canal was great for evening fishing. There were 8 adults, 1 child, and 2 dogs with us with enough space and rooms for everyone not to feel on top of each other. Everything was clean, kitchen was stocked with essentials, and doors/lights/locks worked well. Owners were responsive and even mailed us our pillow and teddy bear back when we accidentally left it(!!). Highly recommend staying here!

Great vacation house for large groups, especially fully equipped kitchen and double laundry. Quick walk to the beach. Clean and organized. Extremely responsive owners who solved issues immediately. Parasailing, zip lining, dolphin tours and hotel boardwalk approx. 20 minutes away. Good place to spend vacation.

We had an awesome stay at the great escape with our family of 17 people. Ages 4-75! Lots of family fun in the pool, hot tub, beach, and traveling into Virginia Beach boardwalk etc. Thanks for the memories!

Everything was wonderful! So much to do. They loved the Bay & Pool. There wasn’t one thing missing that was needed. The owners were easy to get a hold of when one of the bedroom fans did not work. He came & checked it out & got it replaced. The only thing was I had a problem with walking the steps, I have a bad leg which is mot their fault. All & all we had so much fun. We would definitely come back if they had a elevator. It was our best vacation house ever. S. Mcgrath

Overall it was wonderful, it had everything we needed , including a babygate for our daughter plus a stroller. Wonderful place for a big family . Enjoyed the pool Overall! The owners were quickly to respond our questions . Delightful 😊 highly recommended

The house was clean and beautiful and very close to the beach. A lot of amenities included: pool, hot tub, dock, kayaks, SUPs and pool toys. Our group of 4 families had a wonderful time!

We had a wonderful experience! Cody was wonderful to work with! She answered all my questions and very attentive to our specific needs! This property met all our needs and then some! We hope to return again!

The property is nice and had lots of space for our large group of babies to great grand parent.
The outdoor and indoor amenities were fun for all. Would definitely recommend this property. :)
Just a side note, if there was any negative... the beds were not super comfortable.

We had an extended family group ranging in ages from people in their 20's to people in their 90's. All of us were very comfortable in our rooms, and we thoroughly enjoyed the common spaces, all with comfortable furniture. We made many meals in the well equipped kitchen The pool/hot tub is refreshing, and it's just a short walk to the beach. We loved this vacation home.

The owner was very friendly and provided almost everything to make our stay comfortable, relax and enjoyable. The kids love the amenities and games. We are so grateful that she even went out to buy my graduated kid flowers and small gift set. The only thing draws back is the swimming pool and the jacuzzi need to be cleaned better (kids said small rocks at bottom of swimming pool hurt their feet and the jacuzzi water smell moldy?). Otherwise, this place would get 100% recommendation. Inside of the house, everything was neat and very well organized. The check-in & out instructions were clear & posted. We enjoyed this facility very much and would love to come back some day.

Great Escape had everything we needed for a long weekend for our 4 family group. The kitchen was fully stocked. The bedrooms had comfortable beds and had plenty of space. The owner replied very quickly when needed.
