2nd Time staying at the property since it was redone Staff and property did not disappoint always recommend to our friends

We were extremely pleased with the property. The staff from the front desk to the bike attendant (yes included) were excellent. The room was spotless and well supplied. The view from the 4th floor was breathtaking. We did come Friday overnight but enjoyed the entire next day at the beach. It is just the early part of the making season but this is a winner.

What a fabulous beachside treasure!! Sad we could only spend one night …. we were here to attend Coast Guard graduation - but we LOVED this hotel and the Westwood/Cape May area and can’t wait to return for a much linger stay!

Property and location were very good

Loved the styling here, it had great lounging spaces and looks like they were working on more. Room was spacious and comfortable.

Hotel was under some construction or renovation which interfered with the potential beauty of the hotel. The hotel parrot was not able to come out and visit the guest like described on the website which was a disappointment to the children. Over all the room was standard with a touch of beach vibes, the beach was clean and pool time was nice .

The property was really clean, rooms and bathroom was spotless clean, and the front desk people was really friendly.

We enjoyed every minute of our stay at the Mahalo. Our room was very clean, modern and comfortable. The in-room amenities were perfect, especially the keurig coffee maker and the mini fridge. The room's air conditioning worked great and provided a nice break from the outdoor humidity. The shower had good water pressure and plenty of hot water. The general property is well-maintained and clean, and we loved that Mahalo had a nice-sized, clean pool and various sun decks with beautiful ocean views. Speaking of the ocean, we loved that the hotel was right on the beach, making it easy to transition back and forth from pool time to beach time. The hotel also allows guests to borrow beach chairs, an amenity that we used for the bulk of our trip. They also offered free bike rentals, an amenity that we didn't use for this trip, but we will definitely use next year. Lastly, the people working at Mahalo were so kind and helpful. The person at the front desk was welcoming, informative and really cares about the guests' experiences. The people doing housekeeping and managing the chair and bike rentals were also very kind and welcoming. This hotel has a great team, which enhanced all of the other great aspects of the property.

Lovely place. Very clean, friendly staff. We went September 18 and Wildwood Crest was a ghost town. The weekend is busier then they close until May. Nice pool, right on the beach. They provide beach chairs and towels.

Mahalo is a great hotel , super clean with all room contents Beds are extremely comfortable The staff is wonderful, the pool is beautiful with lovely flowers and palm trees It really is a little bit of paradise in Wildwood crest We will definitely return next year This is my new day hotel

Nice place and right in Diamond Beach. Would definitely stay again. Only drawback is they offer beach chairs but not umbrellas so you either have to bring them or rent on the beach. If they had umbrellas it would be 'perfect'

Beautiful property!

First time here and was a last minute booking. Everything about the hotel was exceptional. Staff extremely friendly. Rooms and entire hotel clean. Had a queen double suite and it was just perfect. Pool was beautiful. Beach chairs were there and available to take on beach and were in great condition. Family just loved it and would definitely go back again. Thank you

A sweet gem of a hotel on the beach. Very nice casual boutique style with an island edge to it. Beautiful pool. Great location.

Too expensive for the property size, pool, receptionist made us wait until 3 pm to check in and check out of 10 am is TOO early. An entire day is wasted even though you pay for an entire day. Get a coffee shop. Did like the ice makers in the hall.

Mahalo is extremely clean and very family friendly. My boys loved Maui the parrot. Free beach chair and bicycle usage was a nice surprise.

I admit when I first started looking for hotels, my first choice was to stay at the Icona but the prices were outrageous for the dates we were looking for. I booked the Mahalo based on reviews and price and I'm so glad I did! I have 4 kids so we stayed in the Signature Queen Double Suite which was a perfect size for us. The room and property was very clean, staff was super friendly and helpful. The kids loved the pool. The beach was overly crowded but we stayed over a weekend so that is to be expected since the property is on a public beach. One thing I didn't realize was that the hotel doesn't offer any food options - however the 2 restaurants at the Icona are a quick walk away. We loved that the Mahalo/Icona offer a shuttle service to the boardwalk since parking isn't easy there. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay and I would highly recommend for families! This was our first time in Diamond Beach/Wildwood Crest and won't be our last!

Beautiful room

One small elevator for five floors and it took forever. Pool was nice and hotel was close to beach but crowded. Wanted to take shuttle to boardwalk but waited 20 minutes and it never came. No food or dining options. Free beach chairs were nice.

The hotel is great! Modern look rooms, great entry lobby. Staff was just great from check in to asking to plug in a cart we rented. They were very nice and very welcoming. I would definitely highly recommend

Very clean and quiet facility.

The only thing I can add there is no dining option in the property, they should consider that.
