Condo was clean and well maintained. Perfect location with a great view of the Pacific from the balcony. Within walking distance of restaurants and shopping.

Overall amazing property and stay, the property was just as pictured. Great location and easy access to the beach and local spots. Carl left extra equipment for us to use, which we all appreciated it a lot. Highly recommend!

The unit is exactly as photos convey. The high ceilings and views of the ocean are amazing. We traveled to Maui for a wedding with our young adult sons and it was the perfect rental for them to come and go as they pleased - and with the keypad I never had to worry about them losing a plastic key. Every bedroom has it's own bathroom and shower which made getting ready simple. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals and snacks. The resort does not have enough loungers for all the guests but Carl's unit had beach chairs so we used those on busy pool days. Everything was perfect and we really enjoyed our stay. Thank you so much!

We had a little snafu upon arrival but Mr. Brandes and the management company responded quickly. Great location, close to restaurants, groceries and attractions. Great views and the sound of the waves was very relaxing. This was our first trip to the islands and it may not be the last. I would recommend this condo to other groups seeking relaxation and close proximity to attractions. Papakea is very family oriented.

The views, location, and amenities on the property were great! The open bathrooms in the loft bedroom space and owner's suite took some getting used to, but everything was clean and comfortable.

Overall great stay... At initial check in there were issues with the upstairs toilet and the AC unit, but after quick communication with Carl (the owner) things were quickly taken care of. My only concern was that the people in charge of cleaning the unit did not do much cleaning at all, so we had to do our own deep clean before feeling truly comfortable with our stay. Location-wise, you couldn't ask for a better place. Walking distance to a fun food truck park, coffee shops, ABC (mini-mart) and a grocery store. Definitely got my steps in this vacation! The view from our lanai was unbelievable - we saw sunsets, rainbows and sometime even whales playing in the ocean! This is a location my family and I plan to stay in again in the future - thanks Carl!

Carl was great to work with. He was so kind to provide a summary of the location, places to see, things to do and places to eat. That was so very helpful! There was nothing more he could have done to make our stay at Papakea more enjoyable. The communication with Chasen Rainbows, the property manager, was quite different. We had an issue with the air conditioning unit, which Carl could not handle from a distance, so we followed instructions and contacted Chasen Rainbows on our 2nd day. We never got a call back in the next 5 days and the issue was not resolved. (After communication with Carl, I believe he has tried to remedy the situation with Chasen Rainbows. Carl, it was great renting from you. The place is beautiful. Scenery & view from the lanai can’t be fully appreciated in pictures! Loved it!

Papakea C404 was a perfect spot for our family vacation! The unit was beautiful, and in the perfect spot. There is no beach right in front of the property, but it's a very easy walk to the sand, and the pools on the property are great, and there's a lot of grassy areas. The unit itself had everything we needed for a great family vacation!

We all enjoyed staying here. Plenty of room for 6 adults. Clean and most everything you need. Food carts close by was a bonus!

We were very happy with our stay in Papakea. Carl was very quick to respond with issues the day of our arrival (internet out and no beach towels). The unit supplied bath towels, facial tissues and toilet tissue. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, pots/pans and had some oils and spices available as well. We appreciated having use of the beach chairs and boogie boards. It was a short walk to the beach with easy access to ABC store, grocery and food truck park. Would definitely recommend this unit for it’s the great location.

We visited Maui with a group for a wedding. With three couples the 3bed/3bath was perfect. We had ample space. Everything we needed in the kitchen. The condo was well stocked with towels and household supplies. We enjoyed laying by the ocean, the pool/hot tub and the BBQ’s. We would definitely stay again.

Property was as advertised. It was clean, everything worked, and the contents like beach chairs were very helpful. The property is very convenient to services and beaches.

We had a great vacation in Maui. This condo has everything we needed for a fun relaxing vacation. Great view from the balcony, close to beaches, nice pool, convenient ABC store location, great kitchen/living room for family gatherings and last but not least comfy beds. I highly recommend this condo.

We really enjoyed our stay. The condo was equipped with many amenities and it was very comfortable. There was plenty of space for our group of five. Location is great-close to many of our favorite places.

Our stay was very nice! The condo was exactly as it was portrayed. They had beach chairs, towels, an umbrella, boogie boards and even snorkel gear in the condo. This was very helpful. Lots of space for our family of 5. Carl provided lots of useful information including suggestions for places to eat, shop and gas. One thing to note is there is not a beach at this location that you can really sit on, just a nice view. You do have to travel to get to beaches. Not bad but hard when you don’t know the area. Also no umbrellas at the pool so full sun all the time. Would recommend to others though as it was a nice place to stay.
