Pros Ideal location to public transportation, beach, and shopping at Waikiki Pool was clean and there were clean towels and ice water at the entrance with plenty of chairs and loungers. Unfortunately, the towel/liner on them aren’t changed throughout the day. Lobby has ice water, water cooler, and coffee early mornings. Unfortunately, both the water and coffee are picked up earlier than convenient and is only for hotel customers. Views of the mountains particularly nice after rain to see the rainbows Hotel staff is cordial Cons Unit is extremely outdated TV was not programmed and we had to do that personally Disgusting bathroom – gross toilet, sand on the floor, mildew in the shower, by the shower on the wall, under the counter on the sink Uncomfortable mattress – it was misshapen, coils were pocking through-out, wire edge protrudes and is painful Sofa bed was also uncomfortable and the sofa aspect was extremely outdated and unattractive with stains. Dusty as though it wasn’t cleaned between guests Floor was dirty, no one bothered to sweep or mop Last straw… ants and cockroaches. We had to throw away food we had picked up for dinner and placed on the kitchen counter, which was expensive, inconvenient, and wasteful.
