Lots of sweet stuff, less salty

Budget building has thin walls

This is a holiday resort of sorts, consisting of a large and very nice pool, that is also open to be used by general public. Therefore the pool is busier that expected. Good breakfast. Nice staff. Lovely gardens. San Vito dei Normanni has a few nice places to eat out.

As said, whist the pool was very busy during daytime, the resort was almost empty at nighttime, maybe things went hard during the pandemic.

The pool is amazing

The beds are not so ideal, could be better. And the kitchen goods could get a refill and some new items.

The resort looks nicer in real life than on the pictures! It is really well taken care off and the pool was lovely. The bungalow was small but was all we needed for the week, and very clean. Staff was very friendly, we got great coffee every morning. In general we had a great stay and everything we needed.

It is located a little in the middle of nowhere, so you have to drive quite a bit to get to nice towns in Puglia. For a family it should be fine but as we were 2 friends we felt a bit distanced from where things ''were happening'', and perhaps will stay closer to bigger cities next time. At breakfast we missed some wholegrain options / things without sugar but I think that is perhaps what Italian breakfast is like :).

The place was over the expectations. The photos used on booking.com are not so great but in fact the resort looks much better. Big rooms, fridge, beautiful pool with reserved beds, friendly staff, private parking, balcony, aircon, daily cleaning. It is quited and not croudy. Easy to relax.

Car is recommended. There is a restaurant inhouse but this is not that kind of Italian restaurant that you can sit and relax in the evening. In the town nearby (2km) there is plenty of nice local food.
