Our stay at the Tree House was the perfect relaxing retreat. Cassandra did a good job communicating when asked questions. The house has everything you could possibly need, and more. The back yard was our favorite place to hang out. Either on the dock fishing, crabbing, or playing games, or sitting around the fire pit just hanging out enjoying the amazing weather, or waiting for our dinner to cook over the fire. The kayaks provided a different way to explore, but driving around town in the golf cart was our favorite way to travel. The tree House was exactly what we needed for our relaxing retreat. We loved everything about the tree house from bikes, kayaks, reliable wifi, ice, filtered water, the views and a nice kitchen with everything we needed. Cedar Key is a very quiet and "no hype" kind of town. And our visit couldn't have been more pleasant.

We enjoyed our one week stay in the Tree House, the best love rental on Cedar Key. Casandra is the hostess with the mostest and a great communicator. The house is full of anything you may need including very comfortable beds, a huge beautifully tiled shower for 2 and a well stocked kitchen.The gulf views from the front porch are amazing. We saw Roseate Spoonbills at sunset, an osprey nesting on a neighbors roof, a pod of pelicans and many other tropical birds. There was a rental golf cart under the porch which was a wonderful way to see all the nooks and crannies of this adorable historic and artsy town. To top it off the neighbors were super friendly and couldn’t say enough wonderful things about Casandra’s husband who works hard to ensure his guests are happy and satisfied.

So completely happy with our stay at the Tree House. The Peck family is so generous and Cassandra is wonderful. Sweet accommodations, kayaks, bike and amenities galore, great location…just a very positive experience.

This is by far the best place that we have ever stayed in Cedar Key, Fl. The house is beautiful and has a great back deck that is right on the canal. My husband caught minnows and fished right off of the dock. We rented a golf cart from one of the neighbors and had a great time exploring the area. We were close to everything but felt secluded in this great home with amazing views from every angle. We even made a fire in the fire pit and a few neighbors stopped by to enjoy with us. We are already planning our next visit!

We really enjoyed our stay! The home had everything we needed for a lovely getaway. We had fun by the campfire and on the two porches, indoor and out. The view on the front porch was lovely along with the privacy by the fire in the backyard. We enjoyed the games which made our stay more fun as unfortunately one of the days was rainy but the home felt cozy. Every amendity was thought of while staying here and I really appreciated the thoughtfulness of the host. We definitely want to come back and highly recommend for a small family gathering as it was perfect for us 4! Thanks so much for sharing your beautiful home!

We had a great experience staying in the tree house over Christmas break. It truly had everything we needed and wanted for a relaxing Cedar Key stay. We loved the view from the front porch and the fire pit. We also really enjoyed to screen porch. Highly recommend this property.

The Tree House is a fantastic property to rent for a nice weekend getaway, or in our case, Christmas break. The home is full of amenities including Kayaks, Bikes, golf cart rental if needed, a grill (we didn't use the grill but I'm sure it works fine like everything else did!), a firepit, dock with bar, etc. The house was well maintained and clean. The smores kits, coffee, popcorn, etc were all a very nice touch! We will be staying here again!

We've been coming to The Treehouse over the years for short restfull stays in Cedar Key. The house is extremely comfortable and has 2 lovely porches so family can spread out. It's set on a quiet street with great Gulf viws and gorgeous sunsets. Cassandra has outfitted the property with lovely outdoor seating and recreational amenities. She was a great host, lots of help if you needed it. We would definitely book to say here again.

Would stay again

This property was simply fantastic. We left the giant double doors open all day and just soaked in the view of the Gulf of Mexico as much as we could while we were there. Immaculate condition and tons of detail and niceties were everywhere. Communication was great and everything was perfectly in order. Things could not have been better!

The treehouse was outstanding! Cassandra, our host, was a great communicator. The house was clean, stocked, charming and a lttle away from the center of town which made it quiet but only a 15 min walk away. We are a group of mature women (60 to 70 years) on a fun girls weekend. We kayaked, biked,yakked, and even hit the local bar in costume for their Halloween party! We will be back!

Perfect place to meetup with our son from FSU. Wish we had more time. The Treehouse was perfect for us. We enjoyed biking around the neighborhood and hanging out in the yard. We ended up renting a golf cart from a place in town because Bob was not very responsive. Which was same price and worked out great. The town is still recovering from the hurricane. We are from Clearwater so we can appreciate that need for tourist to spend during that time. Cute place and we will definately be back. We did not get to kayak but we will next time for sure. Being our 1st time ever to Cedar Key we had no pre judgment on what to expect. One of our favorites was feeling like a local. Since the hurricane many shops and restaurants were still juat beginning to open. Our favorite dinners were at Steamers. My husband and I loved trying out all the different bars ans chatting with others. My mothers favorite was walking in the different shops and how intune with supporting local artist was seen everywhere. The Co-op is a must visit. Our children had endless opportunities for play. From lawn domino's, to the swings, bike rides along the water. My son said it was the best trip we took all year. Cassandra and Mike have beencome friends of ours over the years. and they truly out did themselves in hospitality. The house is amazing, unlimited board games for rainny days, loads of out door hours of fun. The house is in great condition, very clean and well stocked. This experience has landed on our repeat list of must do!

I rented this property to get away from a stressful several months. This home is very relaxing and well equipped. Perfect setting to relax.

Cassandra and Mike’s place has everything you need for a relaxing vacation. The location is on a quiet street on the water, it was clean and full of everything you would have at home, plus some things we didn’t even think of. Cedar Key is a quaint little town with friendly people, great seafood and perfect for fishing. We caught a few fish right off the dock in back and also caught a few at the bridge that’s close-by. We ate at Robinson Seafood for all you can eat seafood. That night they had fried shrimp, crab cakes, fried sea bass and seafood chowder. The seafood was fresh and tasty. For breakfast we ate at 2nd Street Cafe. It was busy but they were friendly and the food was good. Steamers is another seafood place with waterfront dining. It has a cool, vibrant vibe with great food. I highly recommend the Treehouse for a relaxing vacation!

This is our third time staying at the Tree House and the first with the new owners. We had a wonderful time on our previous visits but the upgrades by the new owners have made it even better. From small touches like a well-stocked kitchen with coffee pods, microwave popcorn, and even smores kits, to the new furniture, outdoor lighting, fire pit, and bar on the dock, we couldn't have felt more welcome and at home. This a perfect getaway for a family of 4 and the convenience of being able to launch your kayaks right from the back yard, make enjoying Cedar Key even better, just watch the tides!

My husband and I enjoyed walking everywhere-to the airport, to the market and the pier. We also enjoyed kayaking out into the Bayou. The view was wonderful and the neighborhood was very quiet. Everyone that we met was very friendly and Cassandra was quick to respond if we needed her.

We stayed for a long weekend here and had the best time. The home is in a perfect location, close to everything, and it has water in the front and the back. The view was spectacular and we enjoyed fishing and kayaking right off the back deck. The owners were extremely helpful and went above and beyond. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would.

We been going to Cedar Key since childhood. It has always been our favorite get away. A short drive from Ocala put us in a quiet place to unwind. We enjoyed staying in the Tree House as it was on a dead end street with no traffic. Just the place to celebrate our 52nd Wedding Anniversary.

This was the perfect weekend getaway for our family to celebrate our son's 15th birthday. It was our first time visiting Cedar Key, and our stay at The Tree House was the ideal way to do it. The location was very convenient and close to town, but also quiet and serene to aid in our relaxation. The hosts could not be better. They provided fantastic communication and recommendations for our trip. We were so surprised to be greeted with birthday and welcome wishes when we entered, a very nice touch! The house fulfilled all of our needs. Truly, five stars.

The Tree House is a lovely home! The view looking out to the Gulf is beautiful. The Pecks provided everything we needed and more! Communication was excellent; actually I can’t think of anything that wasn’t. Our family of four wanted to get away for a few days. Although we live only 2.5 hours away, we hadn’t been to visit Cedar Key as a family for several years. Our college-age “kids,” (son and daughter) joined us from Gainesville and Tampa, and we spent a relaxing, memorable Easter weekend together. They had a lot of school work but were able to get assignments done (great wifi) and still make time for some fun. Having our dogs with us made the stay even more special. They miss the kids and vice versa (not that we don’t!)! Thanks to the Peck family for a great stay! We’ll definitely be back.

This was our first time using Vrbo and our first time staying in Florida. My wife and I absolutely loved the house, the view, and the short golf cart ride into town. Once we checked in, we put away our car keys, put down our cell phones, and just enjoyed the easy pace of vacation. We slept great on the bed. We ate downtown at several spots, which were all terrific. And a nice short ride to Annie’s Place for breakfast and coffee was terrific. You can easily launch the kayaks right off the backyard. Also, the mountain bikes are terrific to take around the entire neighborhood for sightseeing and some exercise. We highly recommend a trip to the Treehouse and Cedar Key!

The tree house is awesome! Definitely had everything my family and I needed for our short stay. This place comes loaded with bikes and kayaks. A nice deck out back for the creek that leads right into the gulf. The fire pit out back is really nice also. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals along with spices and cooking oil. We had a blast staying at the Tree house! I highly recommend it!!!!
