The staff were welcoming and attentive. The room was beautiful, cool, clean and very large. The view from the garden was breathtakingly beautiful. The whole stay was so peaceful. The onsite restaurant was sourced with high quality, local produce which was lovingly crafted. The breakfast was out of this world. I can not fault our stay.

Friendly welcoming staff

The best location! The cottages were exceptional! We loved the rooms, the beds. Everything was just as described. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Our family of 5 fit perfectly in the 2 bedroom plus living room. The grounds were beautiful with the view of the castle at the end of the property.

Lovely grounds, staff were friendly, perfect place for us and the dog and a great staging point for traveling around Dorset.

It was a very large room with settee and armchair. Bed was very comfortable. Large bathroom, but had a bath/shower. In common with every hotel I have stayed at there was no handrail in the shower. This is essential with a bath/shower arrangement for older guests, as otherwise it is difficult and dangerous to get out of the shower. Breakfast was excellent and nothing was too much trouble if you wanted something not quite standard. Restaurant decor was fine, but without any soft furnishings, hard floor and metal chairs, it was very noisy. We decided this was too much to spend there for an evening meal, so we cannot comment on the food. With a blue badge, we were allowed to park our car outside our room. The car park was outside the courtyard. It would be a trial to drag your cases from the car park across the gravel to your room. I'm glad we didn't have to do it. A pleasant garden gave views over the valley towards Corfe Castle. Not being in a town made it very quiet. Overall, a delightful stay and would certainly return.

We spent 5 nights here. Very welcoming staff, quaint sympathetically restored farm buildings for accommodation. Breakfast excellent. We had dinner 2 nights and the food was nice amd well executed but the restaurant seating is a little uncomfortable for evening dinner - metal chairs without arms. Very dog friendly and every member of staff made us feel welcome and highly valued. They went the extra mile every day and some staff had to wear a few different hats! We will happily recommend and come back when we can.

This is a lovely, rustic property with everything we needed for a comfortable, relaxing break. The staff were almost all friendly and helpful and there when we needed them. The breakfast was excellent with very fresh, local produce.

Great stay in this unique place. Clean and comfortable room. Friendly welcome. Breakfast adequate. I booked the single room and the shower/bathroom/toilet combo was a bit wonky there-made for a slippery floor. Recommended nonetheless!

I had a lovely stay at this property, I stayed for 3 nights and it was very comfortable, quiet and the grounds were beautiful. The staff were always very happy and helpful. It’s also very close by to all the sight seeing you’d want to do in Swanage. Thank you!

Lovely 4 nights away. Friendly, attentive service. Fantastic food in the restaurant with a great breakfast. Room was spacious and very clean, warm and comfortable Some road noise and as it’s dog friendly you may hear the odd dog barking now and again. Views across the valley to Corfe Castle and the sea

Great spot for walking the coastal path but unfortunately I didn’t realise they allowed dogs in the rooms. This meant people in the room next to us had dogs barking all night. Also, dogs in the restaurant. Staff were lovely and attentive.

A fantastic stay from start to finish. Check in was easy, taken to our room by a member of staff who also booked us in for dinner and for breakfast. Evening meal was a high standard and cooked freshly. We also ate evening meal on last night which was a fantastic beef roast dinner. Breakfast was also good from the full english to the continental aspect. All staff from owners to employee 's were friendly and attentive. I would highly recommend a stay.

We had a warm welcome at the Kingston Country Courtyard and had a fantastic stay. We had two bedroom room, with a lounge area, which was perfect base for us to explore the area. Food was delicious and good value!

Unique and lovely

We spent three nights here, part paying with Tesco vouchers for an affordable family break. The location is fantastic, putting us in easy reach of Corfe Castle, Swanage, Durdle Door, etc. The hotel was clean and comfortable and the staff friendly and attentive. Breakfast was very good, with great coffee, fresh bread and locally sourced ingredients. The eco friendly toiletries provided were a great touch too. We didnt eat dinner in the restaurant as it looked a little pricey, but as it turned out we were just unprepared for how expensive eating out in the local area would be. If the breakfast was anything to go by, I expect the food is fantastic. The Scott Arms down the road was even more expensive (thanks to different prices on their menu to their website and a compulsory service charge) and the food mediocre at best (one to avoid!) It's worth travelling into Swanage for a selection of reasonably priced restaurants. If I were to suggest any improvements, it would be new pillows (the beds were very comfortable, but pillows had seen better days) and a better value packed lunch offering. We ordered a family packed lunch, but some items were missing and food choices were limited. Bottled water to purchase would have been nice too. I am being picky though! I would definitely recommend Kingston Country Courtyard and would stay here again.

It was fine

We stayed in accommodation where the bedroom was on the 1st floor, very warm, could have done with a fan. Chairs in the dining area are uncomfortable. Overall we had a lovely 3 night stay, would recommend to family and friends
