This place was incredible. This was my first time at Norris Lake and I couldn’t have been happier with our stay. The property was beautiful and had everything you could want- great location, large dock, games, plenty of space, beautifully modern touches. The host was incredible and very responsive and helpful. I definitely recommend renting the paddle boards! We would definitely come back to this property.

The house itself was nice. Room for everyone. I have a few complaints. The house sleeps 12 but there was only enough towels and wash clothes for 6. There was no dishrags for the kitchen. There were fees for everything. If you wanted to rent the paddle boards there was a fee. If you used them without permission there was a fine. If you threw trash away in the outside cans without being bagged there was a fine. If you used the hot tub there was a fine. A notice would’ve been better saying no guests was to use the hot tub. Also there was light switches all over. They were labeled nicely but too many. And a fire pit was offered but no wood. The house was great. We enjoyed our stay but wouldn’t come back.

We rented Big Creek with family to celebrate 2 of our boys and 1 of our nephews birthdays. The location was prefect. The home was exactly as described, but better in my opinion! It seems they upgraded some furniture after the photos were taken. Check in and communication were super easy. Meredith reached out to me for some check in concerns, but nothing that hindered our stay! I highly recommend this home for family gatherings and enjoying the lake! And to comment on the water temp in April (because I looked for several reviews), the water was still enjoyed by the kids even though it was chilly, however, for short periods of time. :) Everyone enjoyed fishing!

The fireplace didn’t work. I let the owner know and they were supposed to get back with me. They never did. The internet access was horrible. I had to drive into town so I could get some of my work done, which was a huge disappointment. Other than that, the place was nice.

Our family really enjoyed our stay in this home. It was large enough to give everyone the space they wanted at times, but also cozy and comfortable. The location on the lake was great, too.

This is the third year we have rented this beautiful home it is perfect in every way for our family. The property is clean and will maintained. The views are spectacular. We absolutely love the lake and look forward to our annual family trip. This is a great home to relax. We especially love swimming off the dock, exploring the lake and marinas and bonfires in the evening time. Great hosts, no problems highly recommend. Looking forward to Norris Lake in 2023!! Thank you again for being so gracious and sharing your beautiful lake cottage with us .

Lovely property with well stocked kitchen and a huge island, great water views, fairly easy walk down concrete path to dock with lots of covered space to hang out. 15-20 min boat ride or drive to Whitman Hollow Marina where we had rented a pontoon for several days. Plenty of parking space for 5+ cars. The shuffleboard court was a big plus!

We loved this house and location! The property sits in a cove, so there was very little boat traffic. Great for the kids (and adults) to float and swim. The basement was perfect for the kids to have their own space to hang out and play. With 14 of us under one roof, there was more than enough space for everyone, without being on top of each other. My only "trivial gripe" is the hot tub that is not in operation, which was a real tease. A slide or something for people without water toys would be nice too. All in all, we had a great time and would definitely stay here again!

We loved staying at this amazing house. It is a beautiful property and all rooms are tastefully decorated. It has a well designed, well equipped and spacious kitchen. We loved cooking there. There is a great view of the water from house and porch. We loved being able to park the boat in covered slip and walk right up to the house. The dock was great for swimming, reading, and relaxing. We were also happy with the beauty of Lake Norris. It is so pretty and so clean. We definitely want to visit Emerald Waters again.

The property was beautiful. Kitchen well stocked. The dock was great. We would stay again. Only criticism would be to increase bandwidth.

We had several couples for this weekend without kids. The house was perfect for our size group. I did not have great cell service once we arrived at the house and I called the host and he helped me inside right away! Lots of rooms upstairs and downstairs so we could spread out. The kitchen was the hub and had every utensil we could ever need. The ice maker was clutch in readying coolers for the lake. We absolutely LOVED the dock! We spent so much time on the dock hanging out, snacking, watching fish jump and swimming. The sun set on the porch swing was delightful! We can not wait to visit again! The house and host we're so great!

Amazing property. The house is very clean and recently updated. Sloping sidewalk to the waterline. We have retired family members so steps are a concern. This property was very walkable. We had a great stay and returning next year. The house sits back in a cove that is relatively quiet but has enough going on to provide plenty to see on the lake. The dock has a large covered sitting area that is a great hangout for the day.

The property is nice and in a great location for our family. I was alittle disappointed in some areas as far as cleanliness. I realize that superficial cleaning is all that can be done, however I think that once a month that time should be taken to do an extension cleaning. The house sleeps 12 people and we had plenty of room for the 8 of us and a baby. The house only has six towels and washcloths so taking extras is a great idea. Overall it is good!

This is easily in my top three favorite vacation homes we have ever rented. Everything was exactly as pictured/specified—beautiful! The location was great, felt secluded, but you could be anywhere in 15 minutes. The dock was awesome for the kids to fish off of, plenty of space for multiple fishermen. The house was so well appointed, and we really enjoyed the pool table. All the TVs, fireplace, and appliances were super easy to use, and there was SO much space. 9 of us were more than adequately accommodated. We loved that the dining table seated 10. The house was spotless, ready on time, and a breeze to check in to. The checkout process was clearly stated and super quick and easy. We would return here in a heartbeat and would encourage anyone else to do the same. I’m fairly picky about vacation rentals and this one was top notch!

We enjoyed our stay. Water pressure was low for showers. Kitchen supplies were well provided. We always try to leave a rented place as good as we found it and we’re very confused and upset that the owners made several claims on us. We didn’t know we should take before and after pictures.

We had a really great time at big creek! We had 5 couples stay! The house is beautiful! Walk to the dock has minimal steps! The full size beds were really comfortable but kind of small for the 6ft plus guys in our group but that’s ok. We were looking forward to the hot tub but there is a $500 fine to use it. (Due to COVID I’m guessing) Which Meredith could have absolutely told me and I forgot. Meredith was also VERY accommodating with us parking our trucks and boat trailers in the driveway early! We so appreciated that!! The clean up duties were also pretty minimal which is great!

We spent 5 days with our grown children and 2 small grandchildren. Had a wonderful time. Loved the quiet cove. We had everything we needed and then some. Would definitely stay at Big Creek again. Thank you!

My cousin has a house on Lake Norris so we looked for a house that is somewhat handicap accessible. We celebrate my Aunt's 90th birthday and had a wonderful week with all my cousins.

This property is gorgeous. The home is beautifully decorated. Plenty of room for family of six adults and five children. The lake itself is one of the most beautiful I’ve visited. In four days I don’t think we saw it all. We practically lived on the huge deck with large table and chairs. Neighborhood is quiet in the cove. Owners very organized in instructions and availability. We will return!

This place is perfect for a Lake Norris vacation. Easy walk to the dock. Commercial ice maker for filling up your cooler ( great idea). location is close to our favorite Marina Whitman Hollow. Beautiful spacious house. Deck that allows everyone to enjoy the lake view . Kayak and paddle board for rent. Management very quick to respond to any issues . If you are looking for a place on Norris in this location. would highly suggest this house.
