The location was outstanding, a minute walk to the beach that we walked each day even in the rain. The grocery store was just a little ways down the same street as the house. There were so many other out door activity items to use, but our schedule was too busy to use them. Everything in the kitchen worked and was easy to use - everything you needed was there.

The upstairs toilet was electric and really noisy, but it was nice not have to do the stairs at night - so totally acceptable.

Heerlijk huis, veel meer ruimte dan op de foto’s zichtbaar was. Grote, mooie slaapkamers, heerlijke bedden, goed donker te maken Keuken was van alle gemakken voorzien. Sanitair was goed werkende, prima TV met de bekende diensten. Alles was super schoon en goed onderhouden. Locatie was perfect, je kunt van binnen de zee zien. De privé parkeerplaats was recht voor het huis, voor één auto. Goed rechtstreeks contact met eigenaar en conciërge. Bakker en supermarkt op loopafstand. Rustige uitvalsbasis om alle indrukwekkende D-day plekken te bezoeken.

Helemaal niets.

Goede ligging op minder dan 100 mtr. van het strand. Eigen parkeerplaats. Ruim huis met alle voorzieningen. Beschikking over 2 kajaks en div. sub-boards en tevens zwemvesten. Host zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Twee badkamers waarvan 1 met bad. Wasmachine en droger aanwezig, erg makkelijk. Supermarkt, bakker en een paar restaurants op loopafstand. Tuin is afsluitbaar, makkelijk met kleine kinderen. Al met al een prima vakantieverblijf!

Wc-rollen en vaatwastabletten waren spaarzaam aanwezig, afvalzakken niet aanwezig. Huis ligt aan drukke weg, ‘snachts slapen met de ramen open daardoor minder prettig.

Fantastic location (approx. 100 steps from the beach), with good 'low-key' facilities for food nearby (boulangerie, a pizza place, Korean streetfood, crepes, hamburgers, etc). Within 30 minutes driving there is a LOT of World War 2 history to be seen and experienced. The location is across the street of (maybe) the first liberated house of France, liberated by brave Canadians. The house is a very clean place. Complete kitchen and great shower(s). Spacious rooms, good beds. We used the patio/veranda a lot more than I expected, because a Normandy summer is not always so hot:) The house looks (even) better 'in real life' than it does in the pictures. Owner Philippe and host Isabella are very friendly, flexible and communicate well. Philippe lets you use his canoe, SUP board and other watersport gear, if you want. Not necessarily a good or a bad thing, but good to know: the (wooden) stairs and floors upstairs are quite loud. It took our baby some getting used to, but in the end he slept very well during our stay. Must have been the healthy sea breeze!

Cleaning (80 euro) and the use of linnen (towels, bed sheets etc - you can bring your own linnen, if you like) are not included in the price. It's communicated beforehand, but to be honest, for the price we paid, I expected it to be 'part of the deal'.
