Beautiful property, immaculately kept with wonderful amenities

My only slight note is that for very tall visitors the room we were in has low ceilings.

This property was cosy and beautifully decorated. The attention to detail was fantastic and we were sad we were only staying for one night. Our hosts were very friendly and helpful. We stayed in the loft room which had its own private bathroom. There were some delicious brownies provided alongside tea and coffee which was a lovely treat. The couple had two very friendly dogs who greeted us at the door. Everything in the room and bathroom was immaculate and there were plenty of extras such as dressing gowns, blankets, shampoo and soap etc for a luxurious stay. Overall we loved our stay and enjoyed our time in Ardingly.

The ceilings in the loft room are low so you have to be careful not to bang your head on the beams but this was ok for us.

Beautiful attic conversion with timbered coomb ceiling and lovely furniture and bathroom. A delightful place to be with very friendly hosts and good communications.

The space under the eaves meant you had to duck a bit to get to the bed and take care not to bump your head. This is clear enough in the picture so as expected but the only reason I couldn't give top marks for comfort and facilities. Otherwise fabulous.

Alles, einfach ein perfektes Idyll. What a lovely welcome in this tastefully, with great attention to detail, furnished idyll. Freshly baked muffins were already waiting to be enjoyed. The bed and the great behaved two dogs watching below, guarantee a restful sleep. A perfect place for a relaxing, enjoyable overnight stay, or two.

The brownies!! OMG they were delicious and there upon arrival! Perfect partner to the after work coffee. And the hosts were amazing! I could have chatted forever. I had the best stay, comfy sleep and the most welcoming hospitality you could ask for.

Bathroom is rather cramped with not sufficient space for shower et; presence of large dogs in cottage might not suit everyone. Really excellent local bakery but other nearby facilities a bit disappointing, village centre pub was atmospheric but basic with no food available after 8pm and then it seemed only pizza. Highly-rated nearby cafe did not match expectations for breakfast; staff seemed distracted by people coming in for take way food from serving seated customers

It was a really comfortable room, in a property with great character. The location was perfect for my stay, and I received a very warm welcome. The brownies were a welcome bonus!

Such an attractive, clean and comfortable room with a nice modern en-suite. The hosts couldn’t have been anymore hospitable. Highly recommend, would definitely stay again. Cafe and pub just across the road serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. Very pretty village location

If God created the perfect accommodation this was it.
