Superb location. Very warm & cosy. Toilet upstairs & downstairs. Big TV with Netflix etc. We visit Teignmouth/Shaldon several times a year, this is the best location we have stayed in & we felt very comfortable there, we will certainly return. Very surprised there is still no microwave though after reading other reviews saying the same.

Would have liked to have got the key code at least a day before check in day. Wrong key code given to us so we had to phone the owner on arrival (luckily she answered)! No microwave. The bed in front room needs replacing, it has been broken & fixed but we were wary of it as it sunk in the middle. No mirror in the dowstairs bathroom. Could do with a full length mirror.

very nice cosy house

It seemed a little dusty, i would have expected a more thorough cleaning the additional bedding etc was in dusty closets. The former occupant's waste, several black bags, was left behind in thrsmall outdoor area. there was no advice on where to put waste. i finally got the information from the very nice contact person by phone. we did move our own waste into the bin but didnot remove the previous occupier's, surely the cleaners need to check this and remove waste at the end of stay cleaning! thi could cause health issues!

Great location by the railway station

self catering all appliances and equipment were fine. The cottage was very clean and appeared to be freshly painted. As explained to us there was no onsite parking, but were informed hat the station carpark was very near and not expensive

We couldn`t get the television to work it needs instructions. The blind fell off in the toilet

Comfortable, well equipped, clean and in a great location.

I liked the location, fairly central, easy to get back to from most areas of town. We had a problem with the hot water, we reported it to the host who quickly tried to sort it and kept us informed. The next day she had got the gas meter replaced and everything worked well. Very helpful, apologetic and compensated us for our inconvenience. So our holiday was a lovely break. Things can break down or stop working, a willingness to fix things fast and communicate was a blessing!

TV needed logging in. ??? Internet only. You needed your usernames and passwords from home (if you have this??) Who remembers to pack all this information? We were able to watch some things.

Beds were comfortable

Property infested with ants.Double glazing blown,glass full of condensation making rooms dark.No instructions for shower,cooker,hob or t.v.We asked for these from your host but didn’t get them.We’re told we could park across road at station but couldn’t due to air show,your host failed to tell us this.
