First time in Cedar Key late August 2023 - wont be the last. Home was well appointed in a great location. Fishing, Kaying and SUP was great. Hopeful Hurricane Idalia (3 days after departure) didn't have significant effect on people and property.

Although we intended this to be a beach trip, it rained the entire time. This home was super clean, cute and well-appointed!

Terrific spot to enjoy our anniversary! Golf cart is a must to explore this adorable seaside village. Cottage is truly quaint comfort.

This is what you would expect for all the right reasons for an island get-away. We spent 2 weeks at the Blue Chair. Hope to be back soon!

This is the second time we've stayed at Blue Chair, and just like the town we can't get enough of the place. We'll be back again!

The Blue Chair property had every convenience that one could want: Lovely kayaks, throughly stocked kitchen conveniences, comfortable beds, and a lovely decorated interior. We thoroughly enjoyed the use of the golf cart as well. I would stay there again if I come to Cedar Key. The only suggestion that I might have is that there would be two extra blankets available for use on chilly nights. Other than that, I have no criticisms. I still would give it a 5 star rating!

It was a great place to recover from surgery. Almost canceled, glad we didn’t. Very laid back and relaxing. Fishing out back, short golf cart drives to town.

This was our first visit to CK as well as to the Gulf Coast. We truly enjoyed the island and the surroundings! But this review is for the property so I will focus on that. Just beautiful. Truly. We stayed a full week - Everything was so well decorated - beautiful blues and creams everywhere. Most of the accessories and utensils etc were also some shade of blue. So cute. The house smelled lovely and had everything we needed. The couch was super comfy and the TV was sufficient. Loved having washer and dryer access also. The backyard and dock were perfect. We had a daily visitor or 2 - a blue heron and a white heron came every day to benefit from my husband’s fishing prizes. Being off season, we did not use the golf cart as we knew there would be ample parking. But how nice to have that option! I wish we had taken advantage of the kayaks but we never made that happen. We would definitely come back and will surely stay here if we are able. Thank you so much for letting us use your lovely home!

This is a very nice cottage! They have provided everything you could possibly need for your stay. We enjoyed the use of the kayaks and the golf cart(which you can rent at a reasonable price). We will definitely be back!

The property is everything that is in the listing. Lots of fish caught from the dock. Kayaks and accessories ready to go for exploring the salt marsh. JR McCormick even checked in to make sure all our comforts were taken care of. Highly recommended.

The Blue Chair rental is a great cottage. Very well furnished and decorated. Well equipped kitchen. The area is “ off the beaten path” and quiet during our visit but convenient to town etc. Very clean. On site for use is a bicycle, 2 kayaks, fishing pole, deck with plentiful chairs, floating dock on water. We did catch some flounder and croakers. Will need to bring some of your toiletries such as shampoo, bath soap. The “no seeum” bugs were very active during our stay. Overall , a very nice Vacstion destination.

Blue Chair was outstadning. Neat, clean, cozy and right on the water with a great desck and dock.

We had always been wanting to go to Cedar Key and really enjoyed the quaint town and surroundings. The house was as described and equipped with everything needed including items like a cooler, laundry soap and bug spray and other things you would not normally find in a rental. We enjoyed kayaking and fishing around the islands. Only issue was the noseeums they were brutal early am But being Floridians we are used to that and just paddled off the dock very quickly. Will definitely visit again.

The house is beautiful decorated and has everything you will need. We loved watching the birds and fishing off the dock. The owners have thought of every detail, we have never stayed in a house that was so well appointed. Loved the house and as always loved Cedar Key.

We enjoyed ourselves. The property was everything it was advertised to be. Unfortunately Cedar Key basically shuts down in the “ off season “ Restaurants and stores are either closed or have limited hours. Take that into consideration if you’re interested in booking.

Was a wonderful stay! Wouldn't hesitate to stay again. A beautiful hone, but next time will bring ALOT of bug spray.

My husband and I needed a place to relax after a hectic few months..Blue Chair was perfect. Fortunately we brought binoculars and had a great view of the osprey nest and other nature. The kayaks are high quality and comfortable, unlike some rentals we've experienced. Thank you!

Well appointed rental, enjoyed our stay.

Tasteful, well appointed little house that fit us perfectly. All the “infrastructure “ worked perfectly, even the funky grill. The deck, dock, and view (especially out the porthole window) were the best!

This is the type of cottage you read about in summer novels. The decor is perfect. The deck is so nice and it's just a quiet little neighborhood. I can't brag on it enough! One of our best experiences in CK to date. We will definitely be back!!

Great time- comfortable furnishings- tasteful decor- great view/ easy access to town- great amenities- would have loved a screen porch and washer/dryer not in bedroom

Perfect property to relax and enjoy beautiful surroundings or "old Florida". The rental is just as pictured - clean and comfortable for our family of 4. It was great being able to sit on the dock and watch the tides come in and out and all the native birds. The golf cart available on site was super convenient and our kids loved riding in to town on it. We can't wait to come back.

Blue Chair Cottage was perfect for this retired couple who come to Cedar Key for long walks, bird watching, fishing, and kayaking. We spent as much time as possible outside on the deck, on the dock, or in the kayaks. But, inside was nearly perfect as well. Furniture is top quality (especially the bed), and the kitchen was very well equipped. This cottage will be our top choice for future visits.

Our family and pup truly enjoyed your property. We would highly recommend it!

Great stay

Loved house and location. Outdoor space beautiful but different than picture. No nice dining area and no umbrellas. Only one there broken. But it was still a lovely place to stay.
