Peaceful & tranquil location, beautiful and comfortable house!!

This property is beautiful. Indoor / Outdoor Fireplace sets the ambious in the evening. Jacuzzi was great out under the end-to-end terrace with Barbeque, tables, lounge chairs, all facing the large back yard to the Lake. Indoors accomodation is large with two on Suite Master rooms. Loft is large with two King size beds

Great for a getaway!

This location was perfect for our family gathering and incredibly quite. We almost felt like we were the only ones in this area of the lake. The only visitor we had was a fisherman trolling near the docks for a bite.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay. It was very clean, the fireplaces were wonderful and we enjoyed kayaking as well as fishing. We would definitely stay here again!

We enjoyed our few days at the lake. From the time we arrived until it was time to leave, our family had an amazing time. From the hot tub, to corn hole, to kayaking on the lake, it was very relaxing. There was plenty of room for everyone and the furnture was comfortable both inside and out. Sipping our morning coffee on the dock while listening to the birds was wonderful. We would love to come back and visit again some time.

It was a beautiful place close to water. We really enjoyed the fireplace on the patio. Totally relaxing weekend.

It's right on the water. The house was very clean. The hot tub is large and clean. The only negatives were the very loud droning sound in the bedroom, the wifi basically does not work, which is a problem amplified by being in a cell phone deadzone, and there was no way for us to start a fire as we didn't bring a lighter or kindling.

This property is located about 8 miles from a store. On a quiet “finger of a road”. Spacious rooms. Wonderful covered porch overlooking lake. We visited in November and enjoyed the fireplace. (Bring your supply).

My husband and I just wanted to get away for a few days. Beautiful place. Clean and quiet. We will be booking this place again!

This property was wonderful for my family! It was super clean, had a great yard for the kids to play in, a hot tub and cornhole for the adults, and it was in a great location on the lake where we could swim with no worry of passing boats. Would definitely stay here again!

My grown children & their spouses & I stayed over Labor Day weekend. Everything was just as described & the house layout was perfect with plenty of room for family time! Hot tub was in perfect condition & so relaxing! The yard was perfect for corn hole & badminton games & we enjoyed kayaking around the lake! The weather was perfect to enjoy all the outdoor activities - peaceful location - we all thoroughly enjoyed & definitely recommend! Hope to return soon for another adventure!

Beautiful new home lakeside. WiFi is slow because of location, it's the only available internet in the area so it isn't the owner's faultGreat place for relaxing in a secluded area of Lake Sinclair!

We had a wonderful time at Captain's Cove. The feel of the lake house was very warm and inviting, felt like home. The large back yard over looking the lake was peaceful and allowed for our small family to unwind and enjoy roasting s'mores over the fire, fishing off the dock and enjoying the hot tube in the evening.

This house had it all. My family of 4, plus our pug, spent 5 days at Captain's Cove and wish we would have booked a longer stay. The house is new, clean, quiet and the accommodations were great! We enjoyed lazy days out back floating on the lake (tubes provided), fishing (poles provided), swimming, kayaking and playing corn hole. At the end of each night, we cooked dinner on the gas grill, lit a fire in the fire pit for s'mores and capped it off with a soak in the hot tub. The back yard is large and flat which made it a great place for whiffle ball games. The kitchen is stocked with everything a family could need. We brought laundry detergent (not provided) so we were able to pack light and wash clothes while we were there...although we were mostly in bathing suits. I would recommend bringing extra beach towels. The nearest grocery is 30 minutes out. We knew that prior to our arrival and planned ahead so we only needed to make one stop on our way in so we could enjoy our days just hanging out. Our host was quick to respond with any questions we had. This vacation and house exceeded our expectations and we are already planning another trip back.

We booked the lake house for my husband's 40th birthday. The house was lovely, relatively newer construction, with great amenities. The kitchen was well-stocked, and bedrooms and bathrooms were clean and well appropriated. The hot tub, however was a different story. We booked the property because my husband LOVES hot tubs. We were unable to use the hot tub because it was FULL of bugs. The filter looked as if it had never been cleaned and was mucky with insects. YUCK. We stayed away, which was a disappointment given our desire to use the tub. If you're booking for that amenity, go elsewhere. It wasn't usable under current conditions.

The house was perfect. Everything was clean and well decorated. And being right on the lake with the amazing views. We just sat with some chairs on the dock and stared at the water. It was a great and much needed getaway for our family. The hosts were also super friendly and helpful! Always responded immediately to texts for questions we had. We will definitely be back!
