We had a great stay here. The owners were very responsive and helpful. The other bedroom is probably better suited for 2 kids rather than adults, but the beds themselves in there were fine.

Property is beautiful and stays remarkably cool given it has no air conditioning. The twin beds are in a separate room with doors, although adjacent to the kitchen and living area. The only downside to the property is it seems to be occupied with retired folks. Due to the lack of air conditioning on the units, everyone leaves their windows open for air flow. There isn’t a lot of spacing between units with paved paths connected the entire property. We were chastised by a neighbor for not following the noise rules (quiet time begins at 10:00) when departing our unit at 8:30 and having a normal conversation on the way to our car. After we made a suggestion they turn their TV up to block out external noises, they contacted the property manager who in turn reported us to the owner. Unfortunate but we didn’t let it ruin our stay. The property is beautiful but due to the layout of the property and aforementioned incident, definitely wouldn’t recommend children or adults looking to gather for social time.

We loved our stay on the north shore. The cottage was clean, well equipped and had AMAZING views of the ocean. You could not be closer if you tried. The owners, Jason and Katiann were extremely helpful and great to work with. We would definitely come back again.

This Is a wonderful cottage. Nicely furnished and great location, right on the waterfront. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Great communication with our hosts and property manager.

This was an amazing stay at this cute little home! Great location to activities and beach access. Beautiful home in a nice quiet area with amazing views! Host was wonderful to communicate with and quick to respond. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for quiet privacy and for a spectacular experience.

We just loved this house. It had everything we needed to have a great stay. We loved that it was a quiet property. The pool was warm and clean. The grounds are lush and full of beautiful flowers. There is a beach on the right where we walked for miles each morning, usually being the only people in sight. My only complaint would be the bedroom with two twin beds. It has no windows and no dresser. We ended up with one person sleeping on the couch and the other moving their head towards the door which has to stay open to get air (and faces into the kitchen). The room is extremely small and better for children than two adults. The full size bedroom was perfect for two adults. But other than sleeping, we were out and about exploring the lovely small towns and beaches. I highly recommend this home for a wonderful vacation week.

It was amazing to look out at the beautiful ocean views first thing in the morning. It was a convenient location, yet remote. The grounds was a tropical paradise. Would highly recommend.

The place was clean, and the view was incredible. The second bedroom is very tiny. There isn’t room for a dresser, only a tiny nightstand in there. That makes it hard to store, clothes, and other things for the folks who are sleeping in there. We were pretty quiet, but got shushed by neighbors when we weren’t using a whisper voice on our way out to the car in the mornings. The pool is warm and perfect for fun, however, the pool rules include no jumping in the pool, and no loud splashing. We felt like we were walking on pins and needles in the middle of a quiet retirement home. We did not feel very welcome or relaxed while we were here.

We loved staying in this cottage, right on the water we are we could relax and enjoy the surrounding beauty. It was very quiet and peaceful. We would definitely stay here again!

We enjoyed the wonderful view from our cottage. Our only complaint would be that we did not have any hot water in the kitchen during our two week stay.

This is a beautiful place to stay if you’re wanting away from the crowded beaches. This is our second time at this location and we are planning our third.

We had a great week at this rental. The cottage is in a very quiet gated community. The house faces the shore and the beach. It has an upscale feel and is well appointed. The shore and surf is so arresting that it is hard to pull your eyes away. Pretty much the entire shoreline is beaches, mostly undeveloped and not crowded. The cottage is 15 minutes from Haleiwa which has lots of shops and a good grocery store. Alain all a great week.

This property is well taken care of and meets all the needs for a small party. The view is beautiful and grounds are quiet. The pool area and pool were very nice and clean. Thank you for the wonderful stay.

When we arrived at night it was quite hard to find the house so we found the ocean and looked from there.

We had been eyeing Mokuleia Beach Colony for several trips and finally found a time when this unit was available for our dates. You can’t get much closer to the ocean than this beautiful place. It’s been recently renovated and has everything you’ll need to make you never want to leave! Listen to the waves as you fall asleep, beautiful water right outside your door. The property is secluded and beautifully landscaped. Would love to stay again we miss it already! Owner is very responsive when needed!

If you want seclusion, this is the place! A quiet place to relax after a day of sightseeing and touring different venues. Great restaurants, food trucks, and coffee shops close by.

We found this property to be just as advertised. Clean and quiet, in a gated community right on the water. It's on a seawall, so you can't just go for a walk on the beach, but there are plenty of great beaches a short drive away up near Dillingham Airfield. If you're looking for nightlife and partying, this isn't the place for you. If you want to get away and unplug, this works just great.

This was the most amazing place to stay. It was so peaceful listening to the waves at night and spectacular views in the morning. The little crabs on the walkway were so much fun to look at for my boys. The house was just what it says in the listing. The only notable thing was while we were there the microwave was not working. There was a note, but never saw someone coming to look at it. My family and I would book this place again!!!

The Good: The view is great. Up to date appliances. Check in is easy. The drive is about 45 minutes outside of Honolulu and close to an awesome North Shore town of Haleiwa with small town shopping and restaurants. It comes with body boards, various snorkeling gear, flippers, etc… Good area for snorkeling and we didn’t have any other tourists snorkeling so we got to see a lot. Nice rural Hawaii feel. The Bad: The bedroom doesn’t ventilate well even with all the windows open. No central AC, which is common for Hawaii, but it didn’t appear any of the units allow for window units. So if you like to go to sleep in a colder room this won’t be a good nights sleep. It could have been worse but wasn’t good. The bed is uncomfortable and probably a cheaper aged mattress. The plumbing drains are sensitive. They admit as much in their check in packet. On our last day the plumbing backed up in the bathroom and ruined some of our items. When we told management they responded they were busy “unloading a truck.” It was our checkout morning so other than the ruined clothes and the awful smell we were able to get out without putting up with it. However management didn’t give us the feeling it was a priority for them. I hate to think what would have happened if that happened in the middle of our stay. The nearby Polo Beach is used as a nude beach. This isn’t really advertised anywhere but if you google it you will see it is the unofficial nude beach of Oahu. We found this out the hard way 😂. Swimming is poor due to the reefs but makes for good snorkeling. Overall, for the price I wish we would have picked another location but it could have been worse.

Beautiful Property- pictures really don’t do it justice. Would absolutely recommend if you’re looking for quiet, secluded place to enjoy the ocean waves and relax. Nice compound of cottages with pleasant quiet neighbors. Responsive host, easy access, safe and secure. About 35 miles from Honolulu, which takes about an hour drive due to slow speed limits and traffic. If your planning activities in the city, make sure you plan appropriately and expect some of your island time to be taken up on the road. We were not able to use the beach area at property due to waves and no real sandy beach area (possibly due to time of season). Other beaches nearby that are usable, but winter season definitely is challenging on the north side of island for beach use (unless surfing!). Can travel in to Honolulu for calm lagoon beaches, but again, factor in travel. Strict rules regarding cleaning prior to check out,… and wife felt like it was not professionally cleaned, so not really sure why the excessive cleaning fee. Overall, awesome experience and stay in Hawaii

Just like others have said, the pictures do no justice as actually seeing it and living it. Spectacular view, and defiantly quiet. This location is tucked away from the hustle and bustle and if you want to live a little then north shore is about 15 min away. The neighborhood is very quiet but you have everything there for a great getaway. Perfect for a small family. The beach is right in front of you. Water. Yes it’s shallow but it’s because of the time but you can snorkel or even walk on the reef. We even seen a man fishing pretty far out, so bring your swim shoes cause the reef hurt. To the left you can walk through the reef to the beach where you can. Enjoy and of you really want to enjoy the beach there is one to your left about a 8 min drive. Honestly everything is there for this location. Prefect! Bring your quarters too if you want to do laundry cause it’s hard to catch the office to get any if you are always out on the go. Overall I would def. Come back again!

This was a great set up for our family of 4. Kitchen had everything we needed. Enjoyed the quiet evenings. Saw sunsets every evening overlooking the ocean. Saw many sea turtles near the shore. This was a very quiet community. If your family/guests like to be loud, then this isn't the place for you. Beds were very comfortable with easy parking. Also a few secluded beaches nearby. The included beach umbrella was a life saver.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Mokuleia Beach Colony. A great place to unwind and spend quality time with the kids. We can’t wait to stay again. Thank you for sharing your condo with us!

Our stay at the beach cottage was peaceful and lovely! The cottage ocean view is incredible. We had our coffee and breakfast while looking out at the water. Then headed to the beach for a dip in the clear waters. We were pleased to be close to many hikes and the cute town of Haleiwa. Everything we needed was provided on the property including a fantastic pool, tennis courts and laundry. This cottage is exceptional and truthfully reflected in the pictures provided. We highly recommend this beach cottage!
