We needed a place near town for a funeral we were attending and also wanted space for family to visit after the funeral. My sister has a 14 month old puppy that would not do well in a hotel room. Our stay couldn’t have gone more perfectly. The accommodations were exactly has advertised and very picturesque. Thank you!

We literally loved everything about this property. The house was absolutely darling on the inside and super clean. Very well appointed with everything you need for us stay including a special area designed just for your special pet if he or she came along. The outside backyard was incredible. We spent the day fishing off the private deck and enjoyed our nights in the hot tub. Everything about this screams five star! We will definitely book again!

Okay, we've been to Wausau a few times with family and this was, by far, the best we've experienced! The cabin is SO cozy and comfortable. Super easy to find and the neighborhood is gorgeous (and safe!). We arrived after an 8-hour drive with our 2-year-old and the place was spotless, with a little Christmas tree set up, it was nice and warm, and the check-in was way easy. We utilized the hot tub all weekend and loved walking the road surrounding the golf course. I definitely would love to see this place in the summer, but the winter was a 10/10 for sure. Jim & Anna were so accommodating and great communicators (they had to ship us some things we left, because, you know, toddler parents are wildly forgetful). HIGHLY recommend this place just for the river location alone. Great little getaway for our little family! Thanks so much, you guys!

The owners communication was above and beyond. We could not get the bucks or packer game and he went out of his way to help us out. Seriously appreciated. A few things with the property stood out as great. Ambiance, hot tub were both great! I do think a good scrub or steam clean of the carpet could be done with the pets that stay there and the coffee pot was not clean from previous use.

Had a wonderful stay with family recently to celebrate my mom's birthday. The house and scenery were both lovely and very calm and peaceful. It also is very conveniently located to nearby grocery stores for food and supply pickup. The house was very well stocked with kitchen equipment, towels, linens, pillows, and paper products. Everything was very clean and in good repair. The kitchen was well laid out to enjoy the family/living space while still cooking, and they have a large table for playing games. We also enjoyed the smart TV that was very easy to stream TV shows to. Overall, would happily choose to spend a weekend here again!

We had a great mother/daughter getaway! The lodge was clean, close to town, and had everything we needed. We especially enjoyed the hot tub and setting along the river. Very peaceful. We would definitely come back again!

Great location, lovely setup outside with the patio, hot tub and fire pit all along the water. The cabin had all the amenities for a great stay. Communication was excellent with the host and made us feel welcome.

These hosts have a great attention to detail. It’s very clean and well thought out, even down to a brand new sponge for my group (I’m grossed out by used bars of soap or sponges). Very considerate and communicated information before I needed to ask!

The cutest cabin with open concept. Great for just relaxing. The hot tub was super nice to sit in and visit in the afternoon and evenings when it was cooler out. The hosts also personalized things for us which was so nice.

If you are looking for a relaxing place on the water, this is the place. Surrounded by tall pine trees and water, sitting at the fireplace is or hot tub is pretty relaxing. The host greeted us at arrival and was very friendly and helpful. Always responded quickly whenever something came up. The place was very clean and the beds were comfortable. It was really fun using the kayaks. The water was very weedy and lily pads everywhere which made it a little tough to fish and navigate with a boat,so I would not recommend this place for fishing unless that clears up or you make it far enough away where it isnt so weedy. Overall a very fun relaxing stay and I would definitely come back.

The location is great and the cabin has alot to offer from hot tub, Kayak, bonfire etc. Jim and Anna also were great hosts!

This beautiful house was perfect for our family of seven and our two dogs! The house was clean, comfortable and welcoming. We used the kayaks and enjoyed exploring the quiet lake. Anna and Jim were so friendly and accommodating making our stay exceptional. Highly recommend!

We had a two family stay here. We enjoyed every minute of it. Though we were out doing other things majority of the time. But when we were there, the fire, kayaking, played alot of board games, cooked some meals. Great stay! Though we thought it was going to be more secluded and quiet to where i didnt have to worry about my almost 2 year old with traffic. But its on a dead end road so easnt to much! Thanks again for a great stay.

We were looking for a short getaway for the 4th of July and this was perfect for us! Great cabin with everything we needed and more. Great Lake for fishing, tubing and so many sand bars to hang out at. Our 2 families had a fantastic time and bonus our dogs could join us!

Our stay here was LOVELY!! The house was the perfect size and stocked with everything you need for a lake house getaway! We spent the weekend with friends playing games on the porch, kayaking on the lake, laughing by the fire and walking in the beautiful neighborhood! The pups had a great weekend too!

We were in the area to visit our daughter and couldn't have loved this vrbo more! Our down time was completely enjoyed at the house by using all the amenities for all ages. Even the evening walk through the quiet neighborhood with our parents was great! We didn't want to leave because a weekend was not long enough to enjoy this great home.
