If you want to go fishing, you will find a put & take lake in nearby Vrøgum, and for golf enthusiasts, there are several golf courses in the area. A bike path will take you to the small town of Oksbøl, where you can visit the fire department and tank museum. In the seaside resort of Blåvand and Vejers, also accessible by bike, child-friendly beaches await you. Also visit the large nature area Filsø, where bird observatories are located. A network of signposted hiking trails on the west side of the lake leads visitors through the reserve.
