We loved our weekend at this home. It was clean, cozy and comfortable. We were there about 10 minutes when we were greeted by about 10 deer on the property, which was so cool! Our stay there was wonderful and I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

Property is as advertised, well equipped, and then some. The daily deer visits were special. It was a very special time with family.

My family and I had a wonderful time staying at the Hideout. Close to ski slopes and pocono outlets. My boys enjoyed feeding the deer and after a day on the slopes we cozied up to a beautiful fireplace!!! We will definitely be back !!!!!

We wanted to enjoy snow tubing at camelback without having to pay the ridiculous Area price. Miss Barbie and her Husband provided an amazing experience at such an affordable price. You cannot beat it. I’m amazed this property isn’t booked solid at all times. Don’t miss this Gem. Indoor fire place. Dear walk right up to you. Propane grill outside. Complimentary bottles of wine. Kitchen is fully stocked with nice cookware dishes and seasonings. Just a great experience and so close to the attractions without the price I cannot say enough about these people and place. Want Poconos experience without Poconos price this is your place!!

Celebrated a 30th birthday/ girls getaway and we had the best time! It rained the entire time so we couldn’t hit the slopes so we enjoyed time at the cozy cabin more than expected. It was an absolutely perfect size house for our group. Everything was very clean. The highlight of our stay was getting up close and feeding the deer with the deer food they provide for you! It was a really cool experience. Barbie and Pete were incredibly easy to get ahold of and communicate with. I will absolutely be back to stay when in the area!!

Cute little cabin in a great community. The hosts were fantastic and left lots of helpful and fun information for things to do. Everything was very clean and welcoming. We were greeted by a group of deer not even 15 minutes after we arrived! Barbie answered any questions we had very quickly. Highly recommended!

Exactly as described, peaceful area to relax

We were looking for a cabin to spend a couple of nights in the Poconos on our way to the coast and ended up choosing this lovely little place. It was well appointed with everything we needed and was happy to see a recycling bin and we had very comfortable beds! Which to me is the make or break of a place. And the deer really do come around several times a day looking for food. The lake and beach area was so nice. The outside looks a little run down but the inside nice & updated. Small but lovely. The only thing that would have made this nicer would be if the porch/deck had been swept off. Lots of small sticks and debris and no broom even for us to sweep off ourselves. All in all very nice.

We really enjoyed this comfortable, cozy cabin. It was secluded and yet only a short drive to town with good breakfast choices, a CVS, and a wine/spirits store. Feeding deer with their adorable baby was a special treat. The deer food was in the cabin, which we put in the wooden trough outside. I cooked ribs one night and burgers the next on the excellent grill with three burners.
