Big enough room for 4 families bec of the bunk beds. The pool was on the small side. The shower curtains on the 2nd floor had a lot of mildew and the toilet wasn't flushing on and off. Glad we chose the bring your own linen option. The comforter bedding/pillowcases looked old and dirty. The 1st floor smelled musty/smelled like septic. Bring your own extra toilet paper (only 1 roll provided for the whole house), dishwasher soap (2 provided) and laundry soap (2 provided). properly.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our first time to visit OBX and it was a beautiful area. Our group consisted of 2 families. We had two couples and children/teens; four teenage boys, three teenage girls and two younger boys. The beds were very comfortable, the kitchen was well equipped and the house was easy to find. The layout of the house was perfect to give the boys and girls both a floor of their own. One set of parents stayed by the younger boys on the girls floor and the other set stayed in the master off the kitchen. We wiped down some crumbs from the counter and tables when we arrived and the floors could've used a better mopping but I guess you get what you pay for. The pool was really nice to have but at one time or another most everyone in our group commented that the pool area really needed a good pressure washing. The decking could all benefit from a pressure wash and good staining too. It's worth noting that the only view from the deck is the sewer filtration plant which is a bit of an eyesore. The walk to the beach is flat and easy but with a beach wagon, it's close to 10 minutes. You definitely need a beach wagon! The beach area was nice and the ocean was beautiful. Beach wasn't too crowded. If we returned to this area, we'd stay closer to the beach. If you don't mind a little walk, this is a decent place for the price.

Fireplace not working as advertised I called said the man would come fix it and he never did. We lost power 1day into night it got too cold had to leave for the night to take my 91 year old parents to a warm residence and we returned the next day. Overall it was a good time with all my family there.

Cons: kitchen had no pantry and only one dish towel, house didn’t seem very clean and comforters didn’t feel clean, carpet needs to be cleaned. LR sectional felt dirty. Many squeaky interior doors, TV remotes all look identical but aren’t labeled.

The only issues with the house were with the washer and dryer. The house could have been more clean. While sweeping on the top floor we found a huge pile of dirt/toys, etc under the couch.Over all, it was a very nice house.
