The location was ideal as I was visiting family in Pakenham as I was travelling from NSW. Hence the reason why I chose this property.

Upon arrival before entering the front door I noticed cob webs over the garage roller door and over the windows on the front of the house. I started to be concerned what the inside of the property was like. I then entered through the garage and noticed the garage floor wasn't clean and there was a broken mirror, tiles and wall art placed along one wall. For safety purposes the mirror should have been thrown in the bin as is was cracked and the floor tiles could have been placed in either of the 2 linen closest and the wall art should have been removed to allow 2 cars to be parked easily in the garage and not for me to manoeuvre around. I had my 2 yo grandson staying with me and the add states children welcome however there was no suitable (plastic) cups or plates for him to use. We couldn't play in the back yard due to the grass not being mowed. I also noticed $300.00 refundable bond was taken from my Mastercard however the add stated $200.00. The sharp knives that were provided were not put back in the provided cases causing another safety concern. There was only 1 fry pan that desperately needed replacing and was disgusting. For the amount of money that I paid for a 7 night stay and being a new home this property should have been on point with no issues or concerns. For the large space in the lounge room there should have been a larger lounge for a family of 4 to sit on. My elderly dad had to sit on the chair that was in the front room. The oven range hood also wasn't clean, there were only 2 individual pegs on the clothes line, however there was a drier provided but no drying rack. I also stepped on a nail on the carpet floor that needs to be fixed. I sent a text message and placed orange tape on the floor but unfortunately I didn't hear back from the owner. This is a beautiful large home with gas ducted heating that helped make our stay comfortable.
