We have stayed here two summers in a row and we would love to come back. I came with my 6 year old, 8 year old and 2 year old and the kids had an absolute blast. This is a home away from home. The cottage is clean, well stocked, beautiful and extremely functional. We had a very relaxing week away enjoying all the sunsets, hiking and beaches. The owners are incredibly kind, accommodating and responsive. We rate this an 11/10!

Our family of five just enjoyed our second stay in Oliphant at this fantastic, well-appointed property. We normally do not stay at the same place twice, but our kids had such a great time the first time that it was a no-brainer. The property was just as we remembered it - beautiful, exceptionally clean, and with all the amenities we could hope for. In fact, they stepped it up since our first visit, with a canoe and better means to wheel the kayaks/canoe to the nearby beach. Our family had a fantastic four-night stay, enjoying the beach, Sauble Beach, nearby hikes, and a day trip to Tobermory. Barbecues were fantastic, owing to the fantastic fish and meat stores in Wiarton. It is a pleasure to cook in the property’s kitchen, which has everything you could need for a feast. Our kids enjoy the bunkbed room, and it is a great place for us all to cozy up to a movie, interrupted only by a campfire under the stars. A great way to end every great day at this property. We had a great stay! The location was great with only being 10 minutes to sauble, 5 minutes to sauble falls and a nice quiet location near oliphant marina. Leanna and Kevin were fabulous hosts! We had everything we needed during our stay including a welcome bottle of wine upon our arrival! Everything was well thought out, beds were very comfortable and there was lots of games provided for the kids! We would definitely stay here again!

We all enjoyed this cottage during our stay at Oliphant. The cottage is very beautiful, it has all amenities you could need, and everything works. The decor is very well done, and it was a treat to stay for a week at this cottage. If you like beaches, it is very easy to get to Sauble Beach, a mere 5 - 10 minute drive away. We had a great time at this cottage and recommend it!

This was an absolutely incredible vacation experience. Thank you Leanne and Kevin for being such wonderful hosts. We have a 5 year old, 7 year old and an 18 month old baby and we came to stay for 3 nights. The cottage was well stocked with everything we needed and the hosts were so kind to give us an itinerary of things to do, and there was a wagon to use for the beach and they promptly answered all our questions. The property is in amazing shape and everything felt new and luxurious. We bbq'd, made s'mores and watched the sunsets and then had cozy beds to sleep in. Our only regret is that we couldn't stay longer. We would give this place 6 stars ⭐️ and we can't wait to come back!

We just returned home from a perfect vacation at this gem of an Oliphant property. You know it went well when the kids just wish they could go back. Before we arrived, Leanne and her family went above and beyond to (a) provide great information, unprompted, about the property and area, (b) fully answer our questions to help us prepare, and (c) stock the place so that when we arrived, we had everything we would need to live in the place as if it was ours, all at very high quality. The property is exceptionally well-appointed - modern and stylish, yet still appropriately woodsy, and everything in its intuitive place. The pictures are accurate but don’t fully capture all the little details that make the place special. The kitchen/living area were stunning, and it was a pleasure to cook/BBQ each night. The kids’ bedroom had the greatest bunk beds/area that the kids enjoyed having as a hangout. The principal bedroom, on a separate floor, was luxurious and well-designed. The deck was a great place to be, and we really appreciated the family games that were available for use. We enjoyed beautiful sunsets on the quiet beach at the end of the street (1 minute walk), the spectacular starry sky at night, and exploring the Bruce Peninsula by day, with tons of hikes and adventures suitable for kids of all ages. The beach was fantastic for little kids as it stays shallow for several hundred meters. Such a pleasure. It was a perfect, memorable week.
