Our family loved our stay at lovely Joanne's place. The house was very functional and fully furnished with everything you would need (the pictures don't do justice to the place). The spacious backyard with cosy patio was very charming. The neighbourhood is very calm. Joanne is a very good host and very easy to communicate with. Would definitely stay here again !

We've stayed in a few rentals around the Atwater/Silverlake area but this one was by far the most superior. It is situated near everything, with shops and coffee places close by. Everything from the lights being on ready for our late evening arrival to the non-intrusive contact from the owner was perfect. The house itself is filled with the most beautifully authentic fixtures and furniture, with a perfect balance between style and comfort. We especially wanted an outdoor space (being from England we need to take full advantage of the weather) and the garden was amazing. We had all of our meals outside, extremely comfortable with loads of space, the lights made it a great evening space too. All of us (me, my husband and two grown up sons) had the best time and I would recommend it to everyone.

The house is beautiful, quiet and comfortable and the yard is heaven. The house has everything you need to vacation as if you lived in the neighborhood. The house has character and is well appointed in all the creature comfort ways and central air in a classic house is just dreamy! The avocado tree in back provides a shade paradise and the yard is a perfect place to relax with friends and family. Walking distance form the awesome Café Fix and just blocks from all the terrific shops and cafes in Echo Park. Echo Park is my favorite neighborhood in LA- vibrant, diverse, arty and full of cool people. This house is the perfect place to enjoy it all! Joanne is a great hostess and always just a call/text away. the ONLY thing I wish the house had was a King Size bed, then I may never leave! :) We cannot wait to stay again!

This home was perfect for my family vacation. The house had everything we needed and was in the perfect location for seeing Los Angeles. The owner made the home very welcoming. I would definitely stay here again.

We couldn't have chosen a more attractive, comfortable, and convenient place to stay while visiting family in Echo Park over the winter holidays. The property is very tastefully furnished and immaculately maintained. The owner took extra care to make sure it was in perfect condition when we arrived. The outdoor spaces are a major attraction. Parking is convenient, but for those who prefer not to drive, the bus line runs right past the house. For a person who likes to cook, the well-equipped kitchen was a nice surprise. All furnishings were comfortable and attractive; we felt right at home.

Joanne is a fantastic host. The property is immaculate. The neighborhood is so pleasant to walk in day or night. I have recommended this property to friends and family.
