Property was well-maintained and very clean. The owner provided frequent communications prior to and during our trip. Views from the balcony could not be better. Perfect Fall getaway for our family.

We stayed here for a short weekend getaway. It was great. The condo was beautiful and clean. The view is amazing. We stayed in August, weather was great but still a little warm. Take note there is no A/C in the building. So if you like to sleep at 68 degrees like my husband don’t go in the heat of summer. We slept with the windows open and I was comfortable but he was a little warmer than he’d have liked. Parking is a little aggravating because you have to park in a lot and let a shuttle bring you up to the building. They are very quick and run 24/7 but still a little aggravating. The hot tub was not hot at all and the front desk said they couldn’t help so that was a bummer. Overall it was a great visit and we’d definitely stay again!

The condo is immaculate, spacious, and well equipped. For a mountain stay with wonderful views this condo will fit the bill. For better proximity to Sugar Mountain ski area and dining you’re better to find something down from the mountain top.

This was our first time visiting the area, and SugarTop and Sugar Mountain Ski Resort were great! The condo was perfect - it had everything we needed with kitchen items, plenty of fresh towels, comfortable beds, etc. And the washer/dryer in the unit and electric fireplace made it even better! We utilized the pool and hot tub, too, which was a great bonus. The only downside was the parking - since there was a winter storm, the upper parking lot was iced over and they wouldn’t let us park up there, so we had to park in the lower lots. But that’s not the fault of the owners - just something to take into consideration! Also, I’d recommend avoiding holiday weekends if at all possible because the ski resort was insane on Saturday/Sunday :) But overall, we had a great time!

What a wonderful and amazing place to stay. The sunrise over Grandfather mountain was spectacular. We even got to see some snow flurries. The condo was spacious and comfortable and had everything we needed. Loved the small towns nearby and we fell in love with Sugar Mountain,Banner Elk and Blowing Rock. We hope to make a trip back soon!

This place is amazing! Beautiful setting, close to everything and the condo is so cute and clean. I would highly recommend this place to everyone.

This was a beautiful place. It was clean and decorated nice. There was a nice electric fireplace and a great view from the mountain top. It had all the amenities you would need. Plus a washer and dryer in the condo. My son loved the pool. It’s not far from Sugar Mountain Skiing. Definitely will be back!

Condo is very nice Sugar Top resort is very dated and old

This was a very clean and nice property! The only problems we had were that the wifi did not work the entire time we were there. We even tried rebooting it a couple of times. Also, the pool listed as heated but it was very cool. They had the heater on in the pool but it was barely warm. I couldn’t even get in without being uncomfortably chilly. The post listed as a shuttle service. When I think of shuttle service next to a ski resort, I think of a shuttle service taking us there (since it’s only 2-3 miles away). This was not the case. The shuttle service was to bring you up to the building when it was crowded. You had to park way down below then he would pick you up/drop you off at your car. The shuttle was fast but I will say it was kind of inconvenient because you couldn’t just get in your car and go. Overall, the stay was great and I would recommend it!

We had a wonderful skiing weekend in the perfect surrounding. The Condo is newly refurbished in a modern, exclusive style and very well equipped. Great value for money and definitely highly recommend!!! The kids enjoyed the board games in the apartment and also the pool and hot top on ground level. The amenities and the views are terrific. The owners’ support and response was prompt and very helpful. The 2 minute shuttle from Sugartop to the parking lot worked very smoothly. Another 10 minutes ride and we hit the slopes of sugar mountain ski resort. We‘ll definitely be back but on a normal not as busy holiday weekend.

This property was exceptional. The view is spectacular. It was extremely clean and welcoming. We had everything we needed to make it a perfect vacation. The beds were so comfortable and all the games the owners had made it such a fun experience for our family. We look forward to our next stay here.

My wife and two kids spent seven days at this condo and although we spent most of our time outside, we truly enjoyed the comforts and warmth of this newly renovated contemporary condo. The view is exceptional, the appliances very modern and clean, the kitchen has everything one needs to cook for a small family and the bed(s) were extremely comfortable. This place is a great choice for a small family of four. Anything beyond four guests would be tight as the second bedroom is a little small. My only small issue with the condo is the lack of space for storing clothing and winter gear. If you are heavy packers with large suit cases and lots of clothing, you will need to get creative. If you hang 80% of your clothing no problem, but the bedrooms do not have dressers or drawer space. I say just to help you reconsider how much you pack. If you pack light, don't worry, they have a washer and dryer combo in the unit......nice touch. Most people have to walk down the hallway and pay to have their clothes washed. Overall, this one minor issue would never prevent me from booking here again. If I return to Sugar Mountain I will rent this condo again for sure. The owners are very kind and responsive. Overall I highly recommend this condo.

We had a great trip to Sugar Top with this condo. Early season cold snap meant less than ideal weather for exploring, but we had a little snow and felt “right at home”. Everything we could have needed was provided. Just pick up a few groceries at the bottom of the mountain and you’ll be all set. Can’t wait to go back!

We had a wonderful time. The condo had everything you could need and it was beautifully decorated. The view was gorgeous! At first I was concerned it had no AC but it was cool enough with fans and the windows. I would come back in a heartbeat. Thank you for the use of this lovely condo!

We needed somewhere where our family could enjoy time in a condo but be close enough to do outdoor activities. Views were amazing.

Can't say enough! Beautiful condo fully stocked. Awesome views including sunrises. Great location!!! Prompt shuttle service. From the teen...fluffy blankets & fireplace scores 10/10 😁. Property manager great to work with. Already looking to return later this year and definitely staying here!!
