Great place, even cuter than the pictures! This place has baby gates, a crib in the basement closet and even has a Radio Flyer wagon in the garage (we didn't know this until we got there so we brought our own everything so, Parents, I'm letting you know!). It is about a 15 min walk to the beach, which we honestly loved. We drove once and decided we preferred the walk. The place has ants, but it's Corolla so you kinda expect that and wasn't a problem for us. Recommend! Would 100% book this place again!

We thoroughly enjoyed this home. It was our very first family vacation, and our first rental which was a whole home! We didn't agree with the price for the heated pool, and only had one minor concern which isn't even worth mentioning honestly. With the negatives out of the way, pets get to the positives. We booked the wrong place to begin with, but the process of canceling and getting this one (nearly last minute as well) was really easy, and the text service offered works well. Response time is a little long, but we understand how busy you guys must be. We all were ablaze with joy when we walked in. It was super clean, smelled wonderful, and my 9 year old immediately set to the pool. The hot tub was amazing, but might need a little maintenance as the temperature buttons kept turning down. Once around this little hiccup, it was phenomenal. We were pretty close to attractions and beaches, but not too close. That was a luxury we didn't have tie to look into, so when we saw its location, we fell in love. It was easy to plan whole days out at Kitty Hawk and Roanoke Island, and then return to the home to use out amenities. We over prepared and brought along a lot of toys, chairs, and an umbrella. Though we were glad we brought them, we were overjoyed to see these items supplied. We used one of the shovels even, as we were one shovel short. Thank you so much for having those ready. Our son loved all the rooms and balconies, but discovered a minor issue with them. Previous renters streaming apps were still logged in. I would advise, or ask rather, that you guys look into logging out of all these during the cleaning time. I logged out of most of them, but forgot to do so on every TV. This was an amazing adventure, a lovely home, and a well deserved vacation. I hoped so much to give my lady the vacation I thought she deserved. After 4 years of searching for that perfect vacation, Vacasa definitely delivered. Thank you so much, 5 stars.

The house was very clean, beautifully decorated, and had a great layout which made it feel like a home away from home. The couches and beds were all comfortable. The little extra touches like motion-sensing nightlights in the hallways/stairs were a big help for nighttime wakings with a baby. We also appreciated that the house had 2 baby gates, a high chair, and a tub. There was also a mini crib in the home. It was great to have a full size refrigerator and a bathroom on the lowest level just off the pool area. The decks were nicely furnished and although the pool might be on the smaller side, it was plenty of room for our family of 3 and it stayed warm with the pool heater. The hot tub was clean and relaxing too. The neighborhood is quiet with a nice playground and a dock that overlooks the bay. The neighborhood is straight across Hwy 12 from the closest public beach access, or about 10 minutes drive to the 4x4 beach access. We had a great week in this lovely home!

Our stay at this stunning property was nothing but perfection. From the ease of booking and checking in/ checking out, everything was seamless. The home is also lovely, super clean and spacious, the beach/rustic interior is so well designed which made it feel warm/ cozy, it also has the ability to fit multiples families and entertain on the multiple decks, on the pool/ hot tub ground level with the grill, an open concept kitchen/dining/ living area, all nicely located on a culdesac. The location on the island is also great, right between the beach or bay, what more could you ask for? It is also very close to the Food Lion, shops, restaurants, historic village and lighthouse. I personally do not have children but the security on the ground level is perfect for small children, as an alarm goes off when you open the door. They really have everything you could need in the kitchen, which is a plus, making it very easy to have certain meals at home. For example, they have 2 types of coffee machine and 2 griddles, which we used to make breakfast, seriously anything you can think of is there. They even have a washer and dryer right on the main bedroom level. Overall, we had an amazing time staying at this property, it was made so easy to stay here and want to come back, we are going to make this a yearly trip!
