The location was ideal and the size of the space and bedrooms were good for two people.

The door code was changed and I wasn’t informed prior, so I was unable to get in when I arrived. I called the property number and no answer, but then the door unlocked and I then received a text with the updated code. The front steps are somewhat crumbling, which my friend later fell down trying to walk down them. The blinds in the first bedroom were broken, which was unsightly. The rug in the first bedroom is also too large, so we had to roll it up to be able to open the closet. The door in the second bedroom doesn’t seem to be insulated, so it was extremely drafty. I ended up having to sit my bags in front of the door to block some of the air later that night. After getting unpacked and settled in to get ready for an outing, we noticed multiple cleaning oversights between the kitchen, bathroom, and later the towels/linen. There was some sort dark crumbs in the refrigerator, there was drip stains on the outside toilet bowl to the floor, the shower curtain was mildewed at the bottom, my friend found stains on one of her bath towels, and I incurred a rash under my arm after use of a spare pillow in the second bedroom closet. I ended up having to purchase disinfectant wipes and cleaner to make those areas comfortable for our use. I reached out to the staff to notify of our concerns about what we’d discovered in the kitchen and bathroom while getting ready to leave. They requested I send pictures. I advised that I’d already wiped the refrigerator prior to use, but I did get pics of the toilet and shower curtain (as we didn’t see those until we went to utilize the shower and toilet). I sent the pictures the following morning bc we got in late (it was New Years) and got an apology and thanks for wiping the toilet and refrigerator.

free parking was a huge bonus. it was in walking distance to great food and venues. if you are in town for a show at thalia hall; it is perfect.

i saw the kurig coffee machine and thought there would be some pods some where; kinda disappointed to discover that in the morn…no biggie tho.

Die Lage nur einen Block von der Pink Line im Mexikanischen Viertel war sehr gut. Die Nachbarschaft war generell ruhig und sehr angenehm.

great location and they provided with daily passes for parking on the street.

Living area is nice with nice artwork. Nice big TV. Nice easy keypad for access. Direct street is quite run down but 18th street with all the bars and cafes is cool. Very close to pink CTA station.

Kitchen quite dated. Bathroom very dated and in need of a refurb. Bedrooms have tatty blinds that don’t feel very homely. Clean but felt a bit dusty. Lights turn on but wasn’t clear how to do so without turning on attached fan which made the whole thing shake. Fridge water dispenser didn’t work. The main issue I have is the message received before arriving at the property. This asked if I was the only person that would be entering the property irrelevant of people staying the night. I found this very intrusive and I’m not even sure if it is allowed. Really shocked to receive this even though I was on business and was staying alone.

Very spacious, modern and clean.

Property owner/manager attempted to require a Passport or ID number online AFTER I already paid a non-refundable fee. It took many appeals to Booking and the property owner before they agreed to let me stay without providing that information. Deceptive. Should be in the description prior to payment.

It is a cute ground floor apartment. Was very clean - still needs some set up work. Close to a Duncan Donuts for coffee and breakfast in the morning.

The location borders a fairly sketchy area of Chicago. Street parking or parking in the alley for one car, no parking garages close by. Nightstand lamps not plugged in and did not reach outlet. No air conditioning except one until in the living room. Ceiling fans in bedroom did not work and after an 83 degree day - the rooms were very warm. Not a great nights sleep because of the heat. No coffee maker. Minimal glassware. No toilet paper holder - hole in the wall where it should have been.
