The house was wonderful !! Fully equipped with everything our family could have needed and more !! Will definitely be booking again!

We had stayed here in the winter for a hockey tournament and loved the place so we decided to book for our few days in the summer.Trudy is a great host and aims to please. The location is quiet and kept nicely, out in the country which we prefer as we are country folk as well. Next time we are in the area winter or summer this is the place we will be booking. Thanks again Trudy for a relaxing stay.

Very roomy cottage with lots of room 3 plus families. Great yard with lots of room for outdoor activities. Very close to the town of Grand Bend for dining as well as the beach. Our group preferred the "Dog Beach" at the Pinery since my daughters brought their dogs. The Pinery Provincial Park is also a very scenic park with a great beach!

Excellent cottage. It is very hard to find a rental that is kid and dog friendly. Had everything a family could need look forward to coming back

Everything was good except for two things.The mattresses could use updating on some beds and the stairs leading to the dock needs handrails.

Great location and amenities. Lots of space inside and outside to relax and enjoy, and close location to Pinery. Very quiet and peaceful, surrounded by mature trees. Hosts were very responsive and even provided firewood, which was a nice touch. We did not end up using the river, kayaks or canoes, but if you have a motorized watercraft there is a dock and adjacent boat launch. Only issue is for people with mobility concerns, elderly and small children the staircase is quite steep. Overall a great stay at this property and would gladly return.

The cottage was very clean, comfortable and homey. It was just a short drive to hiking trails and the beach as well as Grand Bend shops. We enjoyed our stay. Our only concern was not having handy contact information for our hosts in case of emergency.

The cottage was a very peaceful setting and it was a great central location to explore the Grand Bend / Pinery area. Enjoyed many bonfires in the backyard.

A hidden gem. Great cottage in a quiet neighbourhood. Really enjoyed canoeing on the river and hanging out in the nice backyard. It rained saturday night so we couldnt have a fire. But the living room was very spacious so we had a fun game night.

lots to do at the property and surrounding area,movie night on the outdoor projection screen was a big hit,as well as canoeing and kayaking on the ausable river-well stocked and super comfortable,was the best of many rentals our family has shared together-thank you

Our friends really enjoyed the peaceful setting outdoors.
Inside has a large gathering area and a big kitchen area.
The balconies are a wonderful place to unwind and take in the fresh air.
The only downside is the stairway to upstairs main living area. There are a lot of stairs for us old folks .
We managed.

Enjoyed our family time and the closeness to the Pinery and Grand Bend Beautiful property and awesome layout to home Lots of fun games which we reslly enjoyed and we would highly recommend this little gem

Very nice property in a quiet area. Hosts where easy to deal with and communication was instant. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a relaxing time. Rooms exactly as described. My only criticism was the hosts would not allow us to wash the sheets or even strip the beds, LOL. They truly wanted us to enjoy our stay and not worry about anything. Thanks Trudy

This was a nice place but there isn’t a hot tub like the listing says. Still, it’s nice to spot if you want easy access to the Pinery. We definitely want to come back during cross country ski season.
