My adult children and I had a great time at this property as everything was clean and as described in the listing. The property owner was very responsive and friendly. The property's dock was key as my kids spent quite a bit of time kayaking on the water. The upstairs layout was spacious and open allowing everyone to relax and interact. I'd definitely come back again.

We have stayed at a lot of Virgo’s, sadly this is the most unkept rental property we have stayed in. Looking out windows were cob webs and spiders, killed 3 bugs in house, kitchen didn’t seem to of been wiped down, things stuck in sink i had to clean out, laundry machines even looked dirty. Then i asked neighbor if house was rented a lot and she said “yes but not suppose to be, its against the neighborhood covenants but no one fights them but the neighborhood hates it”. Dock was very confusing then i re-read reviews and figured out we had tied to wrong dock, glad neighbors didn’t get mad at us. Matt was very quick to respond but the property needs thorough cleaning.

Great location. Amazing grounds.

The lake experience was fabulous! Every one had a great time out on the boat riding, swimming and fishing. The house was not a great experience though. At check in we found that the dishwasher was full of dirty dishes there were only 2 pods left to wash dishes for the week. The coffee maker had used coffee grains in it. The bottom floor sliding glass door did not have a lock and this door and the window in the bedroom downstairs didn’t have window coverings. I had to take a broom handle apart and stick it in the track of the door to make sure no one could open it from the outside and we hung sheets to cover the door and window. We saw multiple roaches downstairs. There was only 1 roll of toilet tissue per bathroom for the week. The house advertise 4 towels per bed. We had 1 towel per person for the 5 days we were there and only had 7 people. The dryer was full of linens and was still running when we got there. We pulled up at 2:58 and the cleaning lady was just leaving. Last but not least, the neighbor came banging on the front door because we had parked our boat at his dock. I explained to him that it was the one in the pictures advertising the property and he said “I know and I have told the owner that he needs to change the picture. (Embarrassing!) I read reviews for the property and one review stated they had the same thing happened to them with the boat dock. I contacted the owner about the issues. He said he knew he needed to change the picture of the boat dock.

We found the Sumatra house a very good fit for our group. Plenty of space for teens and nice interior design. The exterior was in need of some upkeep and pest maintenance, however the inside was comfortable and pleasing. Of note was the dock, which was not the one pictured on the vrbo site. The next-door neighbor informed us that we were using his dock and that ours was the one on around. We were happy with the garage rec room play equipment for our teens and the kayaks provided were a nice extra. (To be fair, we did not mention the active wasp nest to the owner, but I'm sure they would have taken care of it.) Overall a very good experience and we would recommend staying here.
