Our hosts were very supportive and could not have been more helpful. They provided information about the area, lots of paper goods, coffee, wine, and made our stay comfortable.

We recently spent a week at this awesome house and will be back again for sure! We loved it's proximity to Jensen and Stuart Beach as well as to downtown Stuart! The owner was so nice and I just loved her. Everything about the home was clean and we didn't need anything during our stay. The only thing we'd change, thought specific to our family, is the sleeping arrangements, while technically there are plenty of beds for 8 people it's not ideal to put young children in the living room on the fold out couch. We made it work and had brought a blow up mattress just in case and ended up putting a child on the floor. While not ideal, I still give this place a 5 we loved it and were so comfortable there, can't wait to go again! Thanks Joy!

My family members and I stayed at Lake Place while attending a graduation and family get together for my granddaughter. We loved it. It is a beautiful little house tucked away on a private lot overlooking a small lake. House was very clean and nicely decorated. Beds were very comfortable. It is very close to beach and many parks and restaurants. Overall, it surpassed all our needs. Would highly recommend it.

Exactly what we were looking for in our price range. Joy's house was the first home I've rented off the internet and I was terrified she was a scam. When I pulled up to the house and was greeted by a beautiful peacock I felt I hit the jack pot. It was everything I could have wanted. Her home felt like visiting my family. My 1 year old could crawl around and I knew she was safe. The house had plenty of room and a kitchen stocked with pots, pans, dishes and utensil. I highly recommend renting from Joy and I can't wait to travel back and rent from Joy again.

This is a very special home. We all loved it, and there's nowhere else we'd stay in Jensen Beach.

Joy is the perfect hostess! She gave us great recommendations regarding the best restaurants, events, beaches, etc. Every recommendation exceeded our expectations! The master bedroom and extra large bathroom was perfect! We will bring our kids next time, as it is plenty big for a family of 4. We got so much more than a place to stay. Our trip would not have been as comfortable or informative without Joy's suggestions and hospitality. The breakfast is a complete bonus too! Loved everything about our stay!

My wife and I were looking for a quiet, comfortable place for a recent stay in the Stuart/Jensen Beach area when we learned of Joy's B & B. Both Joy's home and her hospitality exceeded our expectations. In fact, staying there was so pleasant and convenient that we extended our visit. Her house is spacious, casual and comfortable. We stayed in the master bedroom with an adjoining master bathroom. Two vanities in the bathroom made getting ready for our day a snap. You are Joy's guests and are treated as such. For breakfast she will make eggs to your order with English muffins, juice, yogurt and fruit salad. She also offers cereal selections. The house has central air conditioning and if you like, you can spend time on the wonderful wrap around porch. The porch overlooks a small pond on her property which is dappled with various palm trees. She even has her very own banana tree. In the afternoon and early evenings, my wife and I would often enjoy a glass of wine together in this tranquil setting and talk about our day. Not only did we find Joy's B & B relaxing, but the location is also close to various beaches, shopping and restaurants. We found that it made a great base for when we wanted to venture out with our travels. Joy is very knowledgeable about the area and was a tremendous help as we planned our day's activities. As Joy's guest you will be treated like family. She even welcomed our small dog who was traveling with us. Whether you want to actively sight-see or just hang out and relax, Joy's B & B is a special place. We plan on returning to the area and look forward to staying with Joy.

I feel very lucky that we met Joy and stayed at her Jensen Beach home. First let me say the house is beautiful, soaring ceilings , lots of light and beautiful furniture. We were in Florida looking for a an area to buy a condo. Not only did she print out houses that fit our needs she even offered to drive us to different neighborhoods to see the homes! And she is not a realtor! We had a terrific time, the beach is close and the water was warm. We made a friend and we will be back soon.
