The pictures do not give the location justice it was even better than pictured and the beach is just a few minutes walk. The owners were so nice, check in was super easy. 10/10

Everything about the house was wonderful. So clean and beautifully decorated! I felt so at home with lots of extra details in a rental that you don't find in most places! Would come back again!

We stayed 2 nights, February 28 and 29th and had a wonderful and relaxing time! This beautifully decorated beach house has everything you could possibly need and is super clean and comfortable. The weather was on the cool side but very enjoyable to walk down the beach and check out the area. Interesting to watch the tugboats maneuver large ships through the canal. When the weather warms up we plan on coming back to enjoy the pedestrian beach. We were able to visit Freeport Historical Museum and get some insight on the development of the local area around the Brazos river. Worth the visit. There is much to do and many fine eateries. It was a well rested time away from the normal routine.

My husband, our daughter and I had the opportunity to stay at Bella Vida and it was even better than we expected. The house is absolutely beautiful, if feels so cozy and welcoming. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed. Each room having its own bathroom was awesome, plenty of fluffy towels and the beds were so comfortable. We loved being able to BBQ on the bottom level while watching a movie on the TV. The seating on both decks of the house was a great place to watch the sunset. The pedestrian only beach area made for a great walk along the surf and lots of room for fishing off the jetty We can't wait to go back!

This is exactly what we hoped for with a few little surprises. The house was well decorated and most importantly clean! I love all the beach decor. The bottom patio was the perfect spot to play darts and cornhole. Having the golf cart led us to a pedestrian only beach, which was the surprise. I am not a fan of the cars driving the beach. Here you could have a peaceful walk or set up for the day to watch the waves and surfers- not a bunch of rowdy trucks draped in their flags of choice. Neighborhood is friendly and quiet. Just a great weekend away. We will be back!

We just wanted a quick, relaxing getaway and we found it at Bella Vida! This cute 3BR/3BA house met our every need. The house was very clean, was adorably decorated and was well equipped. The beds and pillows were comfortable and the kitchen had all that we needed! I loved its convenient location and the view of both the beach and the channel from 2 balconies. We enjoyed seeing the huge ships come into the channel, while listening to the sound of the ocean waves. Check in was easy and the property manager was very responsive. We will definitely be back for a longer stay!

Bella Vida is a beautifully outfitted, spacious beach house that immediately puts you into a relaxing mood the moment you step in. You will want for nothing here -- full kitchen, reliable WIFI, laundry, games, and much much more. The house has two balconies which offer great views of the surroundings, as well as a downstairs area with a swing and lounging area. Staying here you are a stone's throw from the pedestrian beach where you can go shell hunting and watch surfers catch the impressive waves in the distance. There is also a pier you can fish off of or just take a relaxing stroll as the sun sets (or rises!). Another unexpected attraction is watching the tug boats bring in giant vessels into the harbor which will delight adults and children alike. There are multiple stores and restaurants in the area which will allow you to pick whether you want to cook or go out for a yummy meal. For the most part the weather cooperated during our stay, but even on our rainy day, we had a great time lounging around, then driving down the coast to Galveston where we went to the aquarium and enjoyed all the island has to offer. The property manager was immediately responsive to the multiple questions we had and was always warm and welcoming. Compared to other accomodations of similar caliber, Bella Vida is a great value. I highly recommend this listing! You will not be disappointed.
