Very poor communication with host.a

The location really is amazing. The apartment is great and was worth the value by comparison in the area It was perfect for 2 people considering privacy and space. It would work for a longer stay then what we did too. However the previous reviews before mine were correct in that the host is not the best with communication. After being given the check-in information which was a bit inconsistent with what we found in the apartment but thorough and friendly. I was told to wait for a confirmation from the host that I was good to enter. I never actually got one. On our last morning at about 10: 30 a.m. I'd just messaged the host we were wrapping up and would be leaving on time (check out is 11) and the next guest openes the door and walked in while we were still packing up. She thought I was the cleaner. I messaged the host. And he informed me they were supposed to wait until they got his go ahead. It gave me more questions than answers. I think this place has a lot of potential unfortunately being walked in on as 2 women traveling really soured the experience for me.

We really enjoyed our stay at this apartment! The location was unbeatable as it’s just round the corner from Pike Place Market. Travelling with 2 young kids means that it isn’t easy to hop on a taxi or Uber. So staying somewhere so central to all attractions meant that we could walk to most places we wanted to visit (Chihuly and Space needle were only a 20-30min walk away), or hop on the bus (direct bus to the zoo!). The apartment building was secure and felt very safe. The apartment itself was very clean, with all amenities you could hope for - we managed to cook breakfast and whip up a few small meals which makes it a lot easier when you have 2 hungry kids. My kids loved it here and so did we. Only slightly hiccup was that communication with the host was not always prompt. I had to go through Vrbo admin to chase up getting check in information which I only received the day before my trip. Also, I had a question during my stay about locating where the fans were stored in the apartment as it was mentioned in the check in information (we visited when the average temperature was 28-30 degrees Celsius) but I never got a direct response. Nonetheless, what information that was provided was detailed and helpful. Check in was a breeze and we had a very comfortable stay. I would definitely book this place again if visiting Seattle!

Offered a central downtown location for everything we wanted to see.

Overall, it was a great stay. Location is perfect with the train station a block away, Pike Market a couple blocks and a stairway down to the waterfront. The safety and security of the building was great, it was a little stark but clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. The kitchen had basic supplies needed to prepare meals. It was great to have a washer and dryer as well. That being said, I was disappointed with the communication with the hosts. I asked if I could possibly get in at 3 instead of 4 and was assured I could but to wait for a message. I never received one until 4:30 saying the apartment was ready (I had already gone in at 4). I received a long message of what was required of me and also that although the apartment had no a/c, I should open the window and door and use the fans. When I asked where they were twice, I never got a response until 2 days later after I checked out. They apologized and stated the last they knew there were 2 there and someone must have taken them. It was pretty hot during the day with 1 small window and a door to open, but I had no problem sleeping as it was cooler then. There is a small table with some wooden slat chairs on the balcony. This is an apartment in the heart of the city, so like all cities, there will be noise. I travel with a small sound machine and that worked well. I travel a lot and although the time of year with the high temperature made it a little warm, I would recommend this location.

Much left to be desired from this day - unfortunately. Beautiful apartment however: the capacity is better suited to three adults not four. Couch in the living room is a trundle bed that was uncomfortable and moved all over the place. It had to be readjusted several times during the night. The kitchen was poorly equipped. We baked pizza and found no pot holders or cookie sheets. Coffee is not included and food from previous guests was left in the fridge. Don't expect coffee or tea e. The bathrooms fan didn't work and bath soap wasn't provided and the shampoo I can only surmise was a remnant from the previous guests. It was a humid weekend and although we knew that there was no air conditioning, no fan was provided either. We had to leave the window open for airflow and had to listen to cars revving and racing until about 2:00 a.m. Finally, there is no wi-fi. I had read the reviews and hope that the situation had been corrected. It had not an attempting to reach the host was unsuccessful regarding the Wi-Fi or the next morning when we requested a noon check out. I do not recommend.

Fantastic location! So close to the waterfront and the light rail - we had a fabulous time. Perfect for two people looking to explore the city. Highly recommend the sailboat ride that you can see from the balcony
