The number one reason we stayed at this place was because it was supposed to have a deep water canal and a large lift for my boat rated for 15,000 pounds. Yes, the canal is deepwater however, unless you have a tiny skiff, you’re not getting your boat in there. The entire area needs to be dredged in the docking area. I had to tie my boat up at mid cleat with most of my boat hanging off with nowhere to tie up because I could not pull in. Overall, the house is in good shape, but as another reviewer said, if you plan on doing much cooking, you might want to look elsewhere because there are the very bare minimum in the kitchen as far as utensils. The pots and pans are all warped and the cheapest you could find. Almost every place we’ve gone to there’s always a binder with a lot of useful Information about the house in surrounding area. Like for instance I had to dig through the bushes to find the outlet that turn the hot tub on most people would’ve given up because you can’t turn it on from the switch on the hot tub.. The back of the headrest on the beige chair in the living room, should’ve been put out to the trash, but instead they patched the area around the headrest and it leaves a sticky residue so when you’re leaning back, it feels greasy on the back your neck.

We stayed at Prize Catch while visiting friends in the area. The house was clean, updated, well maintained and nicely decorated. It had plenty of seating for a family meal. We would definitely stay here again!

Absolutely loved my stay. Great living Spaces. Loved having a boat lift. The Jacuzzi was a game changer. Was a quick ride to the inlet with minimal no wake zones. Richard was attentive and extremely responsive.

This is the second time staying at this property. The property is very clean and well maintained.

Great House

if your travels bring you to this area, do not hesitate to book this house if it is available. It is in a quite neighborhood, very clean, comfortable bed, and great outdoor area that backs up to the canal. Kayaks are provided (although we didn't get time to use). Everything was as marketed. The homeowner/property manager goes out of his way to ensure that guests have a great experience.

Not appointed like many other properties we have used with bare minimum provided. Maintenance needed: No towel bars; broken vertical blinds; broken keypad lock; expired frig filter.

My husband and I truly enjoyed our weekend away. Great house, very comfortable, grill and hot tub were perfect for us to relax after a day of boating. Will definitely come back.
