Suburban Studios is a Quality Inn Brand. Firstly its NOT a studio apartment. Theres no kitchen facility. There is a fridge. Everything is Old and rusted and dirty looking. The cleaning staff do not speak any english (when I asked the maid to clean my room she opened Google Translate). The Shower tap handle requires you to pull it out with both hands. My AC stopped working after a few hours. I called twice and they said they would send maintenance but they didnt arrive. The breakfast is very forgettable and basic (they didnt even have Jam except for some sugar free jelly). The coffee was ditchwater. Please do not stay at this horrible property. The only thing good was the check in with Ms Shante who was friendly and funny and very nice. The rest of my experience at Suburban Studio STANK!

I called to arrange a first floor due to two of the people being handicapped. Not only did they not book our room correctly their elevator was out of service. Unfortunately I won’t chose this location next time.

Hadn’t gotten to the room yet and was approached by a shady male character who asked if he could use my identification credentials for some non- descriptive activity, illegal no doubt, his offer to me was a portion of his many bags of beer, through the night there was the thumping of loud music next door.

Although the room had been refurbished the bathroom had not. Very shabby bath and poor toiletries. The elevator was very dirty and the walkways smelt of cigarettes. I believe there were long stay residents . My key card didn’t work easily .
Breakfast was ok , usual buffet choices but the meat patty and egg didn’t look appetizing! Fine for an overnight stop but not longer.

The location doesn't live up to the pictures. The beds were incredibly uncomfortable. My employees who stayed there all complained about their room in some way shape or form. I am embarassed I selected this property because Tysons was sold out.

I was not feeling safe around the hotel - people following me to my room and knocking on my door. Floor in the room was greasy and slippery.
I stayed for 10 min and left again.

There were key door issues, the ice machine was in the office and the laundry was the opposite way and the shower rode was week. But overall it was okay

Got to the place late. Dropped off my stuff and went to grab dinner , when I came back noticed all the mold !!! This is a serious safety hazard.
I was alone and didn’t want to leave the room at 1 am !
So I stayed at the room. The noise was awful. Flushed it sounded as if this unit is being flooded !
I look forward to hearing back from someone regarding the mold

The only problem I had was our room was next to the laundry. Huge washer/dryers going till evening hours and early morning

My room was never cleaned the entire stay and I asked for extra towels hand to bring them back myself and no face clothes ever delivered as requested.

Stingy on the linens and linens could also have been cleaner. Staff were responsive to requests and questions.

The rooms are nice & clean but it is very noisy all hours of the day. The hotel seems more like a home for most of the guest so there’s kids playing in the day & adults hang out (eat,smoke & talk) right in the front of my room. 2 altercations happened during my stay, one which woke me out of my sleep. The glass is facing the parking lot so at no point will you be able to get sunlight because if you open the curtains anyone in the parking lot can see directly into your room. The adults hangout on the porch or the rooms & you can hear everything!

Honestly it wouldn’t have been that bad if it wasnt for the bathroom. I couldn’t get over the bathroom at all, to the point I had to shower with the lights off. It’s very outdated and had moldy spots every where. My partner said it looks like a jail bathroom. It’s very small and the shower gave me the icks sooo much. The room was decent. The kitchen area was pretty small but convenient. We were on the first floor by the trash can so we did have a lot of gnats, ants, and beetles. The bed kind of felt wet, but it’s was moderately comfortable. We left in the middle of the night to another room. Probably wouldn’t stay here again though.

4 minute walk from the Metro was great. Updated and clean rooms and a nice pool were pluses for the price. The staff was friendly and helpful. The exterior was somewhat rundown, but the updated rooms balanced that out. The biggest concern is that some people seem to be living in the hotel. They did not cause any trouble but seemed to be addicts and that was a bit concerning.

Our efficiency suite seemed to have been remodeled/updated recently and was very clean and had a great kitchenette and a medium-sized (not mini) fridge. There is a lovely quiet courtyard for the inner-facing units. The pool are looked clean and well maintained.

Booked thru Hotel.com when my guest arrived at 10pm, she refused to stay in the room been selecting by hotel request to change the room , they refused to change , my guest 74 year old lady ,she dont want the room at end the hall way to dark and to scary. We paid 2 day in advance, she left the hotel and check in different hotel . And they refused to return any money.

Given keys upon check-in. Opened the door to the room with the key and the room was occupied with other guests.
Returned to the front desk and was assigned a different room. Keys didn't work. Returned to the front desk and keys were recoded for the right room.
Floors were filthy. They may have been vacuumed but clearly never mopped. Two hours in white socks and the bottoms were just gross.
No designated smoking areas so other guests were constantly milling about on the sidewalk. Room doors are not soundproof at all so you will hear continuous conversation, housekkeping carts, trucks in reverse.

The rooms were dirty and smelled. Cocorouches in rooms. Management did not want to assist my clients. As travel agen Im very disappointed in the hotel amd the staff.

Dump. Used as apartments for people the city needs to house, sort of like a shelter. Felt unsafe. It smelled. There was trash and wet whatever on the walk in front of our door. People had lawn chairs in front of their doors, just hanging out. At 3’in the morning people were talking outside our door. I think they were fighting. We did not feel comfortable looking outside. We stayed awake and waited for daylight so we could leave. We prayed our vehicle was still intact. When we were packing up, people came scurrying out of their units to watch us. A couple even got their phones out to record our valuables.

The room was clean and it was quiet during our stay. The Metro is easily accessible. My only complaints would be that housekeeping only comes once a week and the guests have no idea which day that will be. The employees at the front desk were arguing when we checked in and that contention was definitely felt by all in the lobby. We requested extra pillows because the pillows provided are so soft that they disappear when you lay down but we were informed they only had 2 left. Luckily my daughter, who lives close, was able to provide some for us. There are extra charges for almost everything as well. Otherwise, this hotel accommodated our needs.

Room was ok for an inexpensive property. Very loud room AC, bathroom smelled like cigarettes. Bed was comfortable. Room was small with little furniture other than beds. Large refrigerator was nice.
Hotel is very close to Metro.
Some rather sketchy guys sitting outside 1st floor rooms smoking constantly.
