great property, perfect vacation spot for a large group of friends/family

Our group of 4 families very much enjoyed our visit to Lake Harmony. The house was spacious with plenty of seating for meals and hanging by the fire place. Our four families enjoyed the entertainment on the first floor with games of shuffle board, darts, and pool. There were plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. This Lake Harmony home is conveniently located just a few blocks from the lake and a quick drive to skiing, markets, and other entertainment like ATV rentals and Split Rock Resort, where the children visited to go bowling and play in the arcade. The firepit area also offered a nice outdoor area to enjoy the woods. We will be returning next year.

Our family had a wonderful time at the lake harmony house. We had enough rooms for our family of 15. Quiet neighbor and easy access to the stores. I would definitely rent this house again!

First time renting. I would do this again. I learned a lot.

Enjoyed our annual golf outing once again in this house. Plenty of room, well-kept, short walk to the lake, and great fire pit. Will book again!

Overall the property was as listed. Very nice location, near the lake. The décor was open, not overdone, was adequate. We will come back.

Amazing house located in the perfect spot.

The rental was low on convenience - we have been to Poconos as a group before and have definitely stayed in better properties. The lack of bath mats, leaking fridge, clogged bathroom, no decent sound system, fireplace near the road, bad Wi-Fi all made this a less than desirable stay

Clean and very functional property near the beach. Fire pit outside was very nice and the large deck accommodated our family nicely.

We had a very relaxing week here, with seating for dinners and game playing were excellent. The openness of the main floor was great and the deck was awesome anytime of the day.

Lots of room, big kitchen for serious cooking, nice beach and easy parking .

The house was nice however basic things like mattress on bed,tiny master bathroom,pots and pans and a troubling time at the lake were bad.The mattress on almost every bed was eally soft and every bed made a noise when you moved in it.The master bathroom shower was icredibly smallWe also attempted to go down to lake on day and were told we were not allowed in go back and call your landlord.We called Richard and he did respond quickly to the issue but we then went back a few days later and again told we were not allowed.Luckily for us the kid at the desk let us in anyway.Too many aggrevations.

Great location and the perfect home for a large family. Only issue was slow Wifi...not a big deal though.

This property is perfectly located and was able to accommodate our family very well.

The house itself had plenty of space and was a great size and layout for our 20 guests. We enjoyed the location. My issues are mostly with the quality of communication, and the lack of respect or care for our time. When we walked in and noticed the toilet leaking and spurting water, I reached out immediately via the app. The entire 24 hours of communication was awful. I contacted through the app around 4 pm and never got a message back. A while later a man calls me around 6 saying he’s the handy man and he’ll be there at 6 am the following morning unless I really needed him there that night. I said that 6 doesn’t work for our schedule we really need someone to fix this tonight preferably. For many reasons (only bathroom on that floor, and us needing to get ready the following morning to leave) we wanted to be able to use the bathroom… He agreed and we hung up. Nearly 3 hours later I still had no sign of the handyman. I called and left a voicemail asking for eta. Assuming owner Richard was reading my messages since I had gotten a call from the handyman, I sent another message through the app asking for ETA. The handyman didn’t call back til after 11 pm saying he lived 3 hours away, he was in traffics, and would not arrive til 12:30 am. (Honestly I did not hear him sounding like he was in a car but that’s neither here nor there. Even assuming he was in the car we were already after 3 hours since he contacted me). That wasn’t fair at all. He again offered 6 am and I said 7 am. I’d been waiting up late for his arrival and the no communication was very frustrating. The following morning at 7 I got a text he was 20 minutes away. He didn’t show up til nearly 8. Honestly my issue is with the communication. It never should have been this kind of back and forth, false etas, and over promising. Just be upfront and honest. Over communicate. It’s extremely rude to treat people like that. The house was decently clean but we found weird stains and markings on the couch and kitchen wall. The linens company was timely and all clean.

A great fire pit area was a real plus! Wooded lot with deer wandering around (fyi they like carrots)! Peaceful and serene! Well maintained property!

This was our 2nd year staying at this home. The owner was very easy to work with and responded quickly. I would def recommend this home for a large group. Only suggestion is if you plan to cook for a large group, bring some extra pots and pans.

The house was sized to fit 12 adults and 3 children comfortably. There was enough room for us all to sit together for meals and during leisure time. The downstairs game room was the perfect setting for late night enjoyment. Our group was able to sleep comfortably and there were plenty of bathrooms to share. While the kitchen was fully stocked with dishes, glasses, and silverware, the pantry was slightly lacking so I recommend ensuring you bring sugar for coffee and extra paper towels. Enough trash bags and toilet paper were provided by the owner to get us through two nights. The only negative was the outside setting. Because it is winter in the Poconos, both driveways, including the stairway entrance, were a sheet of ice. One of our cars got stuck and had to be towed out of the driveway. And 3 of our guests slipped on the ice and fell in the driveway. Overall the house itself worked for our group and the location was peaceful. However, the grounds could use some maintenance during cold / wet winter months when temperatures drop below freezing.

The house is clean and has plenty of room for nice size group. The Basement is a great hangout as well as the kitchen and family room.

The house was much nicer in person, than the pictures showed. It is a big house with plenty of room.

I brought my family here as a small getaway and we had a wonderful time. The house has a little bit of everything for all ages to enjoy. The lake is absolutely beautiful.

The property was amazing. The Host was very easy to get in contact. There was absolutely no problem with the home. It was very clean and spacious. There were 13 of us and there was so much room. Location is 30 mins away most attractions. I will definitely be staying here again.
