Exceptional in every way. From the secluded location, surrounded by the lavender field that with the breeze brings its herbal scent, relaxation for all senses. Beautifully decorated, new apartment with all the amenities required for a restful holiday. The hospitality of the owner and all its staff, going out of their way to help us with extending their hospitality. And most importantly, do not miss out on the delicatessen wine, the lavender honey and jam – homemade like in good old times. We recommend it highly as your next stay in around Stellenbosch area.

very cold in winter, lots of cold tiled floors , fire in dining room didn’t work, filled the house with smoke . bedrooms had inter leading doors with glass panels so the light from other bedroom lit up the inter leading bedroom.

The location on a wine farm is serene. I felt comfortable about the security measures. The bedrooms are oversized, which I loved.

They have bigger places to book for a longer stay, but the place booked was perfect for 3 days.

It was exactly as advertised on the website. It is located in between the vineyards. Very quiet and secure. Large bedrooms with plenty of space. Comfortable beds. Good and spacious bathroom with walk in shower. Parking space near the cottage.

The chairs at the dining table weren’t very comfortable.

Beautiful self catering units. Clean, spacious and nice decor in units. View from unit is awesome. The hostess was very accommodating and always kept us informed of any changes or issues. It’s was my best stay away from home.

Good peaceful, location. Michelle, the host offered us a late check out as no-one was checking in, which was very kind.

Mosquitoes, flies - suggest nets be fitted on the windows as you cannot open the windows, as one is literally invaded by both these insects. The basin and shower taps - cold tap at the basin didn’t work and taps were difficult to control water flow. The cellar and wine tasting was closed. Nowhere to wash kitchen utensils, other than the bathroom basin which l felt was unhygienic.
