Lovely time at this property- well stocked, clean and welcoming. Loved all the amenities, such as the huge family game room in the basement. All Spaces beautiful, tasteful, and comfortable! The kitchen was a dream with everything anyone would want in a fully equipped space💞💞💞💞

Great community, close to everything you want. Was our 3rd year in a row coming to lake lure. Cabin was super easy to access, clean, pool table and ping pong table were a huge plus. No issues at all. Would definitely stay again!

Great place to stay, cozy and lots of activities for the kids.

My wife and our 3 kids used the cabin over Memorial Day weekend and had a great time. The private beach in the gated community is only a short walk/drive down the hill. The kids enjoyed jumping off the dock and there is plenty of space for them to swim, although the beach itself gets crowded in the afternoon. The kitchen is well stocked and the propane grill was clean and in good condition. The bedroom in the master is on the main level and the mattress is very comfortable. The upstairs has 2 bedrooms and a bathroom, both of which are in good condition and a great set-up for families with multiple children. We had fun using the ping pong table and dartboard downstairs. There are also board games and video games in the downstairs area, and washer/dryer if needed. The cabin is only 10 minutes or so from Chimney Rock Village. We also rented a pontoon from Lake Lure Adventure Company which is very close to the gated community. The cabin has a nice front and back porch with rocking chairs and provides some privacy even though there is another cabin right next door. There are not wide open breath-taking views from the porch, but you do have a glimpse of the mountains, can hear/see the birds, and there is plenty of space to hang out. The cabin is well furnished and in good condition, with high speed wifi. While there is not room for the kids to run around outside and play, with the location of the cabin there is plenty to keep you busy within a short drive - or its nice just to relax at the cabin. We were able to hike Buffalo Creek Park Trail which was just a few minutes away. The owners/managers also have a notebook with information on local restaurants, breweries, and recreation. The TV and cable work in the living room - as does Buck the singing deer! Bring your own kayaks or floats if you want to use them for the private beach. There is also a decent nature trail right near the private beach with a small waterfall and places for the kids to play in the water. The property managers were responsive and checking in/out was convenient. The ice maker was not working but this was the only issue all weekend and only a minor inconvenience - we didnt contact the owners/managers as we already had a bag of ice. We enjoyed our stay at the cabin and look forward to coming back again.
