My group thoroughly enjoyed this property. It was well-stocked however, if there is anything not stocked! If you are short on any supplies then the Neighborhood Walmart is a quick 2 minute drive away. It was a huge plus that there was access to many extras at the property. Most notably the lake mat, the kayaks, outdoor televisions, fire pit, and charcoal/pellet grill. I would recommend bringing your own charcoal if you are planning on grilling, otherwise pellets are provided by the host for the pellet grill. The home looks as if had been gutted and remodeled and the interior looked great. Kudos to the host for a well-maintained maintained property. Two “cons” that come to mind are the over-abundance of spiderwebs. Considering it is a lake house and in the woods that wasn’t such a big deal to us but if someone in your party is afraid of spiders that may be something to keep in mind. Next, the fourth step of the set of steps to get in and out of the lake just off the dock broke off. I alerted the owner that it broke off during our stay most likely as a result of the elements and the wood rotting out where the nails were hammered in. Again, not a big deal to the property as a whole but something to be mindful of for future stays. Overall, I would stay here again. Great property, great location, and an owner with great communication.

We used the house more like a bed and breakfast for our day trips. The house layout is good and if you want to enjoy lake activities it would be excellent, especially with teenagers. The owner went above and beyond what I expected to make sure our stay was perfect.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The beds were comfy, kitchen well equipped. We loved the pellet grill to cook out at night! Host was great, communicated well! House has a great view, nice sized patio and swim dock with kayaks. We will be back!

We really enjoyed our stay, the house was in a great location in a quiet cove with a great view! The kids enjoyed the kayaks and fishing, and the house was well equipped for cooking our meals. We be back to stay again!
