Amazing place, cheap, cheerful, great rooms. Only thing was that in August it was very stuffy and hot and lots of people were drinking and yelling outside the window. Not Bunks' fault but the deliveries at 5am for the shop next door were also quite loud. Maybe if our room faced the other side we'd be better. Cannot fault Bunks itself at all though!

I have a book for 2 days. I did not show up in the first day. When I show up at the second day. They do not have a bed available for me. They were very rude with me. They let me slept at the social room with any cover. I was frozen all night. They acting like they do not care for their guests. They have zero empathy for their guests.

Easy check-in and out, great location, everything clean and in working order. Spacious, private, quiet room (we had a private room for four). A little strange that our room included a kitchen but had no pots/pans/dishes/utensils of any kind. This was our first hostel stay so I'm guessing guests are expected to either bring their own or pay extra? Towels and linens and soap in wall dispensers (at the bathroom sink and in the shower) were all included. Huge bathroom. We stayed on a Friday night and it seemed busy enough in the main areas but I was amazed how quiet our room was the entire length of our stay. There's a Kiwi grocery/general store right next door, very convenient! And plenty of parks, cafes, etc. within walking distance. We also walked from and to central station, maybe a half-hour walk? But local transit is probably great too, we just didn't use it our one day in Oslo. I would absolutely come back here!

I would say it was a good place to stay because the transports to the city are near. With the price per night, we deserve stove, and several times I wanted to eat at lounge, there were no clean plates nor glasses available. Wifi were slow.

Honestly better than expected for 26 bed room, super comfy beds, can make them mostly private with the curtain and a towel, key card lockers and lots of space made it ideal. Also being above the grocery store was perfect

We had a private room and it was great. I appreciated the common area kitchen also, and the rooftop was very neat. Definitely would stay again.

Private room was simple, but met our needs. Kitchen was sufficiently equipped with small pot and pan and bowls and plates, etc. parking is very limited in the underground lot next door. I had to park overnight on the street (which was largely free) until 10 am the next morning when I saw a spot opened up.

Lovely night in Oslo! Easy to get to, easy to check in and out. Clean and safe in a great city!

Best youth hostel in Oslo. Staff were very friendly and helpful, everything was clean and tidy. They even provide towels, linens, body wash and shampoo unlike other youth hostels. Not the closest to the downtown area of Oslo but would only take you a short tram ride, definitely acceptable considered the cost

It’s the Best Hostel i have Ever stayed in, the design is very thoughtful with everything you need included, well designed and clean. The only consideration is that they will not let you use the shared spaces after checkout which is not always great and the receptionists are not very friendly

Staff were lovely and the place was great

I was actually pleasantly surprised considering how cheap the accommodation was for the two nights. It was quiet and in a fairly easy to get to location and plenty of scooters to get around. Staff were friendly, room was clean and had heaps of space. It’s a hostel at the end of the day, not the Ritz. Would definitely stay there again if I went back to Oslo.
