Had to switch room due to a broken radiator set on high. Replacement room and bathroom were much smaller than booked. Reception argued that it was classified as the same meaning no compensation. During night the room was very warm even with the window open. For close to $400/night the quality and service were unacceptable.

Property was run down. Furniture really worn down. Room poorly lit. AC control did not work correctly. Shower leaked all over the floor. Best part of this stay was leaving.

The property was not what I expect of a 4 star hotel. I would rate this hotel as a 2 star. If you have high standards don't pick this hotel. I would never pick this hotel again. The bed was so terrible we had to ask for another room. The rooms are very old and furniture as well as bed needs to be updated. The bathroom was the only thing that has been updated. The only upside to this hotel is the location and very walkable. The staff was great and very accommodating.

I loved everything about my stay at this hotel. Perfectly situated - very close to the main train station, high-end shopping and lovely restaurants. Clean, quiet, and best of all, the staff at the front desk were absolutely wonderful in every way!! I felt very well taken care of. I will definitely return.

We arrived early from a long flight and they let us check in early to the room which was greatly appreciated. Would stay again

I was only planning on staying in Zurich for one night before moving on to Bern but this historic hotel, its surroundings, the room and the staff made it an easy decision to stay another night.

Do not understand how this hotel has an 8/10z Waiting 4 hours to get my bag to my room then getting it myself from reception at 7.15 pm. The room smelt so bad I asked if it was a smoking room or had chemicals been used as after 30 minutes I needed my asthma medication and a migraine started. There was no electric jug to make tea. Reception staff said they would bring it. Still waiting at 10:30pm and by now quite concerned I will need medical treatment. Was offered a different room and took my bags to reception to wait. Found a room but bags were not delivered. Was asked to wait in the bar. Eventually settled with my bag but still forced to go back downstairs to ask for the jug. The staff were so off hand and used excuse they were in their own BUT I fail to understand why I was made to wait hours and others attended immediately. My oxygen levels were so low I feared I would need the ambulance.

Very clean and efficient. Got us our rooms much earlier than the 3pm time as we had just landed and were tired. Staff is courteous, attentive and helpful. Rooms are very comfortable.

It was placed in the center of the older part of the City, made it convenient to see the site, hit the train station, and plenty of places to eat.
