I tried to call the hotel a couple times before my arrival, and no one answered the phone. Then when I arrived in my room, the air conditioning and heating didn't work. I called a couple times down to the front desk to see if someone could work on it, and no one answered the phone. There was no refrigerator and no microwave. When I finally went downstairs to find an ice machine, there was no ice machine. The lady at the front desk had to go to the bar with my ice bucket and get ice for me. Once I told her about the air conditioning and the heater not working, she said I could switch rooms but she didn't have a room close by for me to switch to. They also offered no price reduction for the fact that there was no heater air conditioning in the room. It just wasn't a very pleasant stay.

The floors were dirty, the bathrooms were very poorly lit with only one mirror with a very dim light around it. Other lights in the room were burned out and I told the front desk but they never fixed it. The phone in our room didn't work either. The curtains were off track and we hardly get them closed. If you are a light sleeper, this place is not for you because the room they put us in face to the front of the hotel near the highway and all we could hear was traffic noise all night. Very poor customer service and w to begin e were told I would get a receipt when we checked out, And when we were leaving at 4:00 a.m. We asked the front desk person for our receipt and he said, we don't do that, you'll get an email. And walked away. One of the worst hotel experiences we've ever had.

The restaurant was closed and i was told they were short staffed on running it so that was a little disappointing. The room was very quiet and mostly clean. The phone had no wires to it, but they are in renovation so it is what it is. The shower wasnt the greatest, and drain was slow. The desk clerk at check out was really polite as well. The only thing i really noticed was a large open trash bag outside our room when we got in, and a large pile of towels and bedding in the hall about 4 doors down, which were also there in the morning when we left. Didnt have breakfast so cant say anything about that, but didnt even know if there was one with the restaurant closed and staffing issues. Over all, decent for the price if your mostly looking for a room to crash for the night. Would stay here again.

There are so many motels and hotels that do not update their advertising so when one arrives not knowing that accommodations, food service, taxes, and etc..may have changed they should be held accountable for the changes made that weren’t posted. Mr Gleason went over and beyond to satisfy the customers concerning price changes for rooms and breakfast.

It was ok. Not real convenient and misleading to folks that aren’t from here. We assumed this would be on Pittsburgh proper and it wasn’t. It is in need of major restoration including the road leading to it. Very odd and to itself. The pool was horrible. Very dirty. They could have at least covered it for the off season.

The hotel has a long blacktop road leading from the hwy but no sidewalk or walkway and has lots of trees and bushes near by. I had no car was planning on using Uber to my Medical Center appointment. Due to budget considerations I was stuck at the hotel most of the time but via the generosity of strangers I got out and joined in their tours of the area. The hotel was short staffed in the kitchen. There was not hot breakfast other than the toaster for bagels. The restaurant/bar was unstaffed so I Uber Eats most of my meals and got creative with the microwave next to the lobby 'munchie' shop. The room itself was one of the best cleaned rooms I have ever stayed in (all levels of hotels). I walked on the vinyl laminate flooring and my feet stayed completely cleaned. The bathroom and furniture could easily pass a white glove test by the pickiest of guests. I glanced at the housekeepers as I passed by and noticed that they took off their 'outside' shoes and wore designated slippers when cleaning individual rooms. Unfortunately, the areas outside of the rooms were not as neat and tidy most of the time due to the staff that there was focusing on the rooms which left me disappointed in the cleanliness of the lobby, elevator and hallways at times but thankful the room was cleaned so well as it was only available every 3 days.

It needs a lot of updates, door closer was broke, pool outside with cover that had piles of leaves on it

Where do I begin! Just walking through the front door your hit was a bad smell. The elevator is GROSS, smells too! Our rooms a/c made weird sounds all night. The plugs would not hold any of our chargers in. No outlets next to bed to plug phone in. The bathroom was so small you had to walk in, stand to side of toilet, close the door, just to get to shower! The shower water temp was just a smidge over warm. The toilet being flushed was horrific. The mirror in bathroom was so dim you could barely see anything. The TV in the room was so old and the picture so dark you could hardly watch a movie.The next morning we were looking forward to the breakfast they said was complementary and yes, we went down towards the last 30 mins of it closing, but alls the had is a couple muffins, some dry cereal no one there to refill anything and we had to go back and get milk/juice ourselves. They had no coffee or tea in the breakfast area, but some gross tea (water) in foyer. Hopefully this explains the 1 star review. THIS HOTEL HAS BEEN TAKIN OFF OUR LIST!

I had an issue the last night when I tried to use the microwave. There wasn't a plug for it where it was sitting. When I moved the dresser to look for one, a piece broke off - really scared me. I had to move the microwave to another location to use it. I did let them know when I checked out what had happened.

This property is in transition. The staff was very friendly and helpful. My problem lies with the condition of the room. First, the window locks are broken and fire sprinkler was taped over leaving the customer to feel unsafe. Second, the bathroom walls and ceiling had vomit on them. Very nasty! Lastly, there was very limited supply on cups, shampoo, soap, conditioner, lotion, and coffee makings. I had to ask for another towel and toiletries. Overall, I will not stay here again. PS the sign in the parking lot indicated that area was unsafe by a disclaimer that states park at your own risk. Where else can you park for a overnight stay? This disclaimer cause anxiety for the customer.

It provided a comfortable bed for sleeping.

The rooms and staff were great. Old hotel. Trying to update. Road to go in was horrible. Needs upkeep. In payment complimentary breakfast. No cook. Kitchen closed due to zero staff. Paid for what was promised. Did not fulfill. On a positive note... The Staff that was there was kind and very helpful.

Slapdash renovation going on but really creepy location. I liken it to a painted over crime scene. Wyndam Garden is usually much better. This place creeped me out. It was clean, but that was the only positive I can say for it.
