We have stayed here many times over the years, and its the view, the fantastic breakfast and the friendly staff that have made it worthwhile. However it is well and truly in need of a renovation (which I believe is happening later this year). Its very expensive for what it is, very tired, definitely not a 5 or even a 4 star hotel. Most of the staff were fantastic as usual, however we had an unfortunate experience when we checked in and paid our "eco" tax in cash. It wasn't recorded anywhere that we had paid, and when we queried it (and were asked to pay it again), we were made to feel like we were lying / dishonest. Seems odd not to have any sort of CCTV in a reception / cash area. It left a bad taste. We resolved this - but not as easily as we should have been able to.

Elena on reception is a star, going over and above her duties to ensure our stay was complete. Fantastic views, lovely pool area, delicious breakfast. Olde worlde charm with excellent service.

Good location and nice hotel, somewhat dated though

The hotel is a bit old/dated, yes, but so are other properties in Corfu. The hotel was great all around - great location. Great view. Walkable to the old town. Friendly staff. Nice breakfast with a view. I’d certainly return when in Corfu.

Great location, easy to walk into town. Breakfast was amazing - fresh fruit and juices to accompany just about any selection of food you could imagine!

Recently stayed at Corfu Palace with my wife and 2 year old daughter. We had an amazing stay, the hotel couldn’t be in a better location to the old town and is only 5 minute walk in, the hotel was incredibly clean and had a brilliant breakfast spread. The grounds were really beautiful and well maintained, decor was a little dated but as to be expected with a older hotel but all bedding and linens were brand new. The staff of the hotel were the highlight from the friendly housekeeping team, to front desk to restaurant staff, they were amazing they were all lovely, they all remembered our daughters name and said hello every morning and were able to help us have an amazing stay with them. Thank you Corfu Palace team.

Front desk staff helpful and very friendly. Dining staff was very stuffy. Dinner on terrace usually took two hours to complete. Location was great, architecture was beautiful.

The hotel is very impressive, has a superb location and a fabulous breakfast! The room was spacious and clean. The only thing that could be improved is the air-conditioning system. It did not cool very well, so sleeping was a bit uncomfortable.

A great location, spacious room with a patio, nice staff, big, deep, beautiful swimming pool with salty water, enough chairs, umbrellas and towels, nice pool bar. The breakfast was good, but exactly the same every day. I wish there was a coffee maker in the room. There was a small fridge in the room but not an actual mini bar or some snacks.

The Grande Dame of hotels, a 10 min walk from the charming town of Corfu. Impeccable service, lovely pool and stunning view from the room. Yes, the hotel style / decor is dated, but it’s all part of the charm - it’s like you are transported to another time. Simply wonderful!

Hotel, staff, facilities, pool area, view, location I would give 5 stars. However room was really dated, we had only one pillow on each bed, the TV was very old and incredibly small (to be fair we didn't watch but just an observastion for a room I paid over £350 for). The air con rattled so not great nights sleep. I have slept in much better 4 star hotels. I would visit hotel but not stay there again as for the amount of money you pay, you are not paying for a 5 star room. The breakfast was nothing special either, again have had better buffet breakfasts at an ibis.

Can’t wait to return! I wouldn’t stay anywhere else. Thanks for a fun, safe stay. Travelling alone 5 nights. My son was able to juggle UK work commitments and got a flight from Cambridge area. Value the hotel’s support. Late checkout which was nice. Thank you. Also my son was flying out later - able to swim and use the pool. Brilliant spa onsite. Tranquil. Best staff. Know their work. Corfu Palace brings the elegance, romance, and service of a bygone era into the present with first class amenities and thoughtful dedicated hard-working staff. Truly a pleasure to stay at this gem of a resort along the harbor within easy walking distance from Old Town Corfu. We ate virtually all our meals at the hotel, consistently excellent with highest quality ingredients. Dinners on the terrace at Scheria were impressive with truly extraordinary dishes. The chef has created a wonderful innovative menu, which we enjoyed while listening to the best bouzouki musicians. Yet it was the attentive staff that made all the difference with their warm, friendly, and professional manner.

Very good standard inside, large terrace outside.

Rooms were dated and no independent heating & air conditioning. Slept with door open to balcony to cool room. Majority of staff not eager to assist, but would do so when requested. Grounds and common areas of hotel were beautiful.

We had a geat stay. The staff was amazing, great location, beautiful view of the sea!!

The best hotel in Corfu! Unfortunately, in November the hotel restaurant was closed on Sunday and Monday-just when I stayed there. But it is not a big problem.

Lovely hotel, beautiful gardened pool area, very relaxing. Great dining terrace and location is close to Corfu Town, 5mins walk along the see, if that.

Timeless elegance

It was our 4th stay at the Corfu Palace and as always was very enjoyable. Lovely staff and fantastic views over Garista Bay. It had a great pool area with lots is sun beds available and shade if required. Good breakfast but we always choose to dine out in the evenings as so many wonderful bars and restaurants in Corfu Town only a 10 minute walk away. Our favourite restaurant is Elia tucked away in heart of town but worth finding as is best home cooked food I have ever had in visiting Greece for the last 30 years!! Fir those not on a budget The Corfu Palace is the best hotel in Corfu Town.

No doubt Corfu Palace Hotel is one of the spectacular landmark of Corfu and it is exceeded all our expectations Our room was very large, comfy and clean with excellent panoramic sea view. The Corfu Palace is a beautiful hotel with a really friendly and attentive Team. The only downside, is a problem with Greek drainage, I totally understand and agree with the need not to flush paper, but putting it in a plastic bag in the trash. All the plastic ever made still exists today, May I suggest a more eco friendly form of disposing of natural waste

We enjoyed the hotel and it’s good value for the money. Don’t expect a five star hotel or experience. With the right expectations it’s a nice stay.

This hotel used to be great but right now needs a lot of updates and renovations. The price was higher than worth it.

Loved the large pool, with plenty of sunbeds. Also that the aircon was on in the room even when we were out as it was 36c while we were there so it kept the room lovely and cool. The staff were lovely and helpful and we were extremely pleased with everything and had a great time.

It’s a two star hotel not a five star.
