This hotel was conveniently located in the heart of Penn's Landing. Having to pay to park was a bummer and the hotel itself is a bit outdated for the price ($289). It was "fine" for the night, however pricey for a week night, with not a ton of luxury...

This hotel was conveniently located in the heart of Penn's Landing. Having to pay to park was a bummer and the hotel itself is a bit outdated for the price ($289). It was "fine" for the night, however pricey for a week night, with not a ton of luxury...

We came into town for a concert and was looking for close proximity to the venue and this was it. It's just about a 20 minute walk to anything so its a great location. The view of the river was incredible from our room. The staff at the desk were great and very helpful! They gave us some hot spot ideas for dining and places to visit. The room was clean and stocked with all of the essentials. The bed and pillows were comfortable too, which is always a huge plus!

Very convenient

We had a nice time staying here. There are a good amount of breakfast options. The rooms look a bit older than expected but it was clean and mainly quiet. The highway was not loud. The ac in the room is amazing. It got the room super cold very fast. For anyone unsure, I would say stay here. You would have to walk to get to places. It is about 16-20 minute walk to busier areas. However please note that they charge $100 security deposit when you check in for the room and it’s $50 security deposit for the parking. Those are in addition to the prices. They said you should get those deposits back after 5-10 days when you check out . Overall it was good place to stay.

The noise from the street and nearby rooms interrupted our sleep. The hallway carpet and the room carpet are in desperate need of being cleaned or replaced.

We chose a river-view room and ended up being given a corner room with windows facing both the river and Highway I-95. Unfortunately, the highway noise made for a miserable night's sleep--even used earplugs and a sound machine but still found the traffic noise to be overwhelming. When we complained in the morning and asked for a discount for the unacceptable room, we were told by the front desk that we should have called down at night to see if there was a better room. Turns out they had another river-view room further away from the highway that was available the first night. We ended up moving into that room for the second and final night of our stay. Why we weren't given the quieter room that was available from the start makes no sense. More soundproofing is needed at this hotel!

Everything about the hotel was great except it's location. Parking small & tight. Our room faced I95 and the traffic all night long was very loud. Made a good night's sleep impossible

Hotel was clean, beds were comfortable. Breakfast was nothing fancy. Overnight security was on their game. Room next door ended up getting into a fight at 1am and within a minute of the call they were able to quietly and efficiently settle the guest with no other problems. We enjoyed our stay will return again.

I was surprised the amount they charged her parking at a Holiday Inn when it was connected to a parking lot I can understand paying for parking if you’re not staying on site, but for hotel guest, I was shocked. I was also overcharged for the room when I checked my price on, Expedia was cheaper than what I was charged at the hotel

There was no trash can outside for dog waste. I had to go across the street to dispose of the dog waste.
