Lovely hotel right in the centre of Trier. We were lucky enough to have the view of Porta Nigra. Reasonable parking rate, there are some parking spots with no height restriction.

This was a very comfortable hotel. Very convenient location, close to the train station and centrum. the bistro offered great food, at great price. There was a festival going on this weekend so the hotel was at the perfect location.

Just across the road from the Porta Nigra so an excellent location to start exploring the Roman history of Trier. Also not far from the train station along a main road. Staff were friendly and efficient. Rooms are large and very comfortable, with large beds, a large desk and chest of drawers, a small table with armchairs, and a good sized bathroom. The breakfast restaurant does a very good traditional German breakfast, where you can enjoy a marvellous view of the Porta Nigra over bread and cheese/cold meats/jams, and good black coffee. The downstairs Vis A Vis bar/bistro is good for an evening drink and/or a light dinner. The association with a Spielbank casino is a little weird, but otherwise not noticeable as it's out of the way.

If I come back to Trier, I am 100% staying here again. We got a room that overlooked the Porta Nigra. It was beautiful. Probably, the best view I've ever had from a hotel room. The room was comfortable, the staff was great. The breakfast was perfect (totally worth the money).

Great location, very nice breakfast and easy parking. Onlupy issue is AC was not running. Only works when hot outside apparently. This is the only down point.

Our room was very clean and eve bed was comfortable. The restaurant was very good; the food was delicious! The location can’t be beat. Will definitely be back!
