The hotel was nice and has a lot of potential, but some aspects could be improved. The pillows for example were pretty poor quality and seemed very old. However the building was beautiful, the location was good and breakfast was excellent quality. The breakfast room was also very pretty with plenty of natural light and nice views. If certain details like the quality of bedding was improved the hotel would be absolutely excellent.

Caroline Mathilde has truly evolved over the past few years. The location is quiet and very close to the town centre. The staff are professional, friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet is plentiful, well presented and delicious. The pool is pure bliss. Pillow gummy bears are a nice touch :-) Thanks to all the staff and special shoutout to Wiebke who made our stay enjoyable.

We had a 3 days stay in Celle, and we where very pleased with the comfort of this hotel. We used the swimming pool, which is a very nice extra. Breakfast is excellent, the only thing that could be better is the restaurant. We only used in one time, and it does not live up to the same high standard as the rest of the hotel. It can not be recommended, You get a much better meal in Celle town.

The beds was perhaps a bit hard, but I have never slept so well at hotel before! Because of C19 you have to reserve time for breakfast (if you want to enjoy breakfast at the hotel) and that worked well: there were never too many people in the restaurant, so it didn't feel crowded. There were everything you needed: scrambled eggs, bacon and sausages; 2 kinds of juice, yoghurt, homemade muesli, bread, cheese, honey and much more! They only allow 5 people at the same time in the pool area, but again, it worked well. The pool area is also nice. Could reach the old town within a 5 min walk. Would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay here again, if I should come to Celle again.

I had a very nice stay in connection with business travel to Celle. The hotel is nicely located just outside the city center, making it less busy than most other hotels, while still easily within walking distance. The staff is friendly and helpful, the room I stayed in was very good, modern bathroom with a small shower, comfortable bed, desk, safe, closet and minibar. I also enjoyed the pool and sauna in the neighboring building, which is a nice bonus over most other hotels in the region. The Kanape restaurant also serves good food, so you are not dependent on going to the city for dinner. Breakfast was also nice, an ok selection of continental breakfast, where the only negative to note was rather dry bread. The wifi worked well on my laptop, although I couldn't connect on my phone for some reason. All in all I had a very enjoyable stay, and would recommend this hotel whether on business or vacation travel.
