First of all the grounds are gorgeous, our room was ready, incredibly clean and the view was magical. The staff was warm and welcoming. On the second night there was a backup in our bathroom , roots were clogging the pipes.we were told we had to change rooms and it was rather late. I was really rather upset after unpacking and getting comfortable we were ready to rest for the evening. I really just wanted to enjoy my trip. The manager Claudia was very understanding and warm. She upgraded our room to the Presidental suite, which by the way is out of this world beautiful. The room wasn’t quite ready so she apologized and offered a complementary breakfast because of the hassle of not only changing rooms but having to wait for them to fix the air conditioner and clean the room. Again they kindly stepped up and we were offered a complimentary massage , which by the way was an amazing one. It isn’t just the fact that they made up for the inconvenience in the best of ways, but that Claudia did it with such sincere kindness. The main director came by at breakfast the next day and gave me a really pretty hand carved heart and apologized. Such a sweet gesture. It’s hard to find that kind of heart felt treatment nowdays and I will never forget them or the most beautiful room we have ever stayed in. Claudia went far beyond her call of duty and we will never forget her or the incredible experience of all the workers at this one of a kind hotel. Pool and beaches wow!!

This was a very quiet place to relax and get away from the routine. Staff was very helpful,friendly and very attentive to all of our needs.

This place was amazing! It is not however ADA friendly. So many stairs! We would get over 10,000 steps in just a few hours from going up and down to the pool/beach. They do have transportation available so I wouldn’t let this discourage you from staying. We stayed with our young kids (ages 6 and 7) and they also loved it! We liked that it was quiet and family friendly. Not a party scene like some of the other hotels down the beach.

Quinta Real is a beautiful property!
Our room was quite aways from the pool and beach area so we walked a lot. We did not mind this at all! But, it is something to think about if you decide to stay at this property.
We had lunch twice by the pool, amazing food! Loved the tostadas!!!

Rooms are a bit dated, but large as we got a room with a private pool. Beds are small if you get the two doubles. They are doubles - not Queens.
