The hotel is on an industrial estate and seems popular with workers in transit. The communal areas look very smart and give off a good impression but the rooms are a different story. My room (119) was small, dark and gloomy - the walls were painted dark blue. Everything looks worn, run down and dated. The so called restaurant and bar opened at 7pm and only offers three varieties of pizza - as soon as you had eaten it was closed and you were told to sit in the lobby. Scruffy individuals were hanging around outside the entrance smoking and drinking bottles of beer. Underground car park was grim. OK for a one night stopover.

After check in we got a room for one with a single bed, however I have booked one double room with a double bed request. Then we went down to the reception to ask for another room, but the double room we got this time wasn’t cleaned after the previous guests so we had to go and try again. The third room was the right one, and receptionist said it’s not visible from there if the room is already cleaned so apologised for this inconvenience. The room was clean and quiet, bed was comfy, bathroom was also okay except the shower curtain, as it was white, but mouldy on the bottom.

Ended up taking the s-Bahn an hour from the airport and had to walk twenty minutes with all my luggage through the streets of the neighborhood. There was no A/C only an oscillating fan. I could not get the shower to work. The lamp didn’t work consistently and the small table kept falling over. The carpet had several dark stains that looked like vomit was cleaned up but never shampooed. The “restaurant” was to open at 6pm so after I showered and napped, I went down expecting to be able to order and substantial meal. The only thing they had was pizza!
