The property is truly unique and situated in a gorgeous location. The decor is very well done with a nod to the past and appropriate updates that merge both perfectly. The food menu is limited but everything was delicious. Breakfast is wonderful and the staff helpful and friendly.

This hotel is in prime location on the edge of Lake Constance, and offers easy access to the city itself, as well as the ferries in the harbour. Rooms were good but not as luxurious as expected at the price. Hallways looked worn. But the hotel excelled at breakfast...a superb range was available (including champagne), all enjoyed on the terrace by the lake.

Frontdesk staff was very friendly. Loved the room. Everythingvwas clean. The hotel itself was beautiful. Also in a greatvlocation tobfood and shopping. Everything within 2 to 3 minutes walk. Breakfast was onenofbthe bestvthings i have seen in years.

Excellent setting in a very nice town which has a terrific holiday atmosphere. Also an excellent base to travel in Germany and Switzerland. It was my second visit to this Hotel, patio right on the lake.

This was one of the best stays that I have ever had. The room was big and beautiful. It was stocked daily with water, beer and coke. You could sleep with the windows and patio door open, allowing the air off of the lake to permeate the room. Was so awesome!

Beautiful lakeside hotel with loads of character and history. Very convenient for Constance old town. Has a small but very nice spa area.

Really enjoyed the range available at Breakfast, room service food was genuine restaurant quality. Incredible value for money when you consider where it borders and the staff were all friendly and professional. One of my favourite hotels and I stay in 50 plus each year.

There was no concierge and the desk clerks could not help with typical touristy questions. Maren was the only one who tried to help. Easy walk to train station.

The views of the lake from the restaurant terrace are beautiful. The staff is helpful and cheerful. The proximity to walking streets and shopping is perfect. Bravo.

Bathroom is too small. Floor 4 requires 2 sets of stairs from floor 3...no elevator. Floor 4 felt inferior to other floors. Room initially had bad smell of poop and it was remedied with open window and deodorant and offer to switch rooms...but it was too much trouble at that point. Drinks and water in minibar were included which was nice.
