Disappointed with management. Went at 2pm to check in (as per normal check in time) and there was no one there, door locked, called both numbers provided on the door with no answer, someone from the restuatant told us they had gone for lunch and we had to wait for their return. Upon his return, no Apology or greeting just a "this stuff happens, we were at lunch". That is rude and unprofessional especially in such a small friendly town and did not make us feel welcomed. From a long drive to then be not acknowledged, just your room is there with the key Inside. MANNERS MATTER. the room was very nice, the view was pretty and would of been a lovely stay if we were welcomed properly. After reading the comments from management below (which if you want a laugh go and have a read at managements responses) we are looking forward to your response.

Nice quiet place to stay

We had a room with queen bed and stairs and did not realize we got a two story building all to ourselves. Very spacious. It was a pleasant surprise. Living / dinning area on the ground floor and a carpeted bedroom upstairs. Stairs were not a problem because the parking lot was right in front of the entrance so you could easily carry your suitcase from the car. Very friendly staff. The room was spotless and cozy. There is microwave, fridge, toaster, kettle, a few yet sufficient cutlery and utensils. Walkable distance to a walking trail and restaurants by the sea.

Nice quiet place to stay

Had a great time at Queechy Motel. Steve was very welcoming and super helpful, he even introduced us to the local Albino Wallaby. When in St Helen’s, definitely stay here.

Wow. What a great place. Our unit was awesome. Clean, spacious and easily accessible. The hosts were so nice and friendly. I highly recommend this place.

This is a great motel just of the highway and easy walking into town. We had a spa room on 2 levels which was fantastic especially as we could watch the sunrise from the bedroom. Good base for exploring the coast which i recommend as it is beautiful. Motel next to a great french restaurant which i would recommend although there are other options in town.

We arrived an hour after booking in time to find a note on the door indicating they were having a beer at the club and would be back later. Another group also waiting rang them and they were supposed to be on their way. We waited a while then gave up. When we came back later the reception was open but no one was there. I rang the bell and waited on 4 occasions before someone came out. Not even a scent of an apology.
