It’s says “Adults only” but there were children running and playing. If you’re looking for a quiet adult-only resort do not go here. The food was not good at all.

Stay for 2 days celebrating my birthday. Staff, Viviana offered special dinners, the event it’s goin to be in special places private on the beach (the event you have to pay separate but is okey por special day) this lady was so sweet, and excellent promoting and trying so hard you feel good, and make me happy because she told me she going to get decorated, and make sure the people working for me is goin to be the best. She told me she send a message to them for getting ready at the time 7:30 I felt bad because when I going to meet the staff fort special dinner, they don’t have nothing ready and the people and the event was like they don’t care about it. So went you aspect the people is going to be like Viviana she is the excellent person forgetting they need to training the staff for all special events. Restaurant is ok the people was nicely

Overall for my first time being to this DR and being at a resort this place is great way to get your start . Only thing is food is like hit or miss depends on what you like but the experience is great and fun excursions .

My stay at HM Hotel was disappointing. The check-in staff were unfriendly, and my room's air conditioning wasn’t working. It took two hours to get it fixed and ultimately, I had to change rooms. Additionally, I found roaches in the sushi and salad bar, which was quite unsettling. Transportation to the next destination was not available until 10 AM, which was inconvenient. Finally, the concierge made an error during check-out, causing a delay that nearly made me miss my flight. Overall, I was very dissatisfied with my experience.

Great experience however if your picky on food seasonings this might not your spot. Most of the food was either under seasoned or over seasoned. 2 out if the 3 dinner dates were interupted by food with not that great seasoning. For example pasta too bland, lasagna way too salty, ceaser salad had a weird tasting dressing. There were many times my girl & I didnt enjoy the breakfast or lunch options. However, they have burgers/ fries & many other options at the free food truck/ snack bars to compensate. & for sure I enjoyed a burger almost every other hour of the day while drinking n sweating out in the sun. I recommend having a chicken or regular burger. It comes with fries but you DEFINITELY need to tell them to throw some NACHO CHEESE on TOP The Fries. 😋 The drinks were either too sugary, too sour, or too sweet. I recommend telling the bar tenders "menos azucar"; "less sugary" & they'll make you stronger drinks; liquor wise & put less of those sweeteners they be using. I recommend the alcapolco tequila drink. You end up only needing 5 drinks. If you dont like the unlimited free drink bars. There is a bar that sells branded liquor mixed drinks right by the lobby of the resort. 2 Hennessey n cokes were all we needed for 1 the nights. Being super strong & perfect for our taste. The activities are great! Swimming pools are vibey! Try the ocean w snorkeling gear. Great Views. MAKE SURE TO BRING DOMINICAN PESOS FOR TIPS! ATM NEARBY ONLY DISPENSES 500S, & 1000S.

Poor service I will never go back there again. I would never recommend this place to nobody. The food was awful

We had a broken balcony door on the first day and we waited hours for someone to fix it so our first day was wasted i couldnt leave all my stuff with no lock on first floor . Then no hot water . Day 3 after them sending multiple workers several times they finally changed our room. So we actually only had 2 good days in the room where we could take hot showers . The food also wasn't that good and if you take an excursion even through the hotel like we did you will get screwed out of eating in a restaurant. They only had 1 restaurant open the entire time we were there.

This hotel is NOT 4 star !!! I would say 2.5 at most . No beach ,,shuttle to public beach every half hour from hotel . You have to pay for everything at public beach ,,chairs umbrella etc . Hotel has limited food ,,only 2 restaurants with reservations and it’s sad how bad they are . Staff is not smiling ,,we tip one person daily that smiled . I have never seen food so bland ,tasteless and it’s a shame to call this 4 star !!! There is nothing on Expedia explaining for no beach ,paying for safe 3$ daily fee ,,10$ for towel if wanted they return money at end for towels . One restaurant Japanese is not included ,,pricey and same food like in other restaurant . Show at night are ok but not even ok after same every night . If you want to relax and only relax this is good place . Pools are nice ,,few with salty water . Management is poor ,,we have daily issues with no hot water ,tv not working ,water all over room from a/c . We wanted to upgrade to better room because we felt that Expedia and hotel selling this hotel as wrong advertisement and dishonest reviews !! They wanted 860$ extra for upgrade ,,on what ? To have bigger balcony overlooking a/c conditioners Loud and smell from kitchen is so bad . Expedia told us that hotel will contact us on all this issues ,,they never did :( our 2 weeks vacation was ruined by poor explanation on either Expedia or Hotel website ! So unfair . Entertainment is just looking for women who are lonely to make some contacts . That’s so sad ! Etc..

Beautiful view to the ocean and pool. Very welcoming enviorment and staff. Drinks and food were good as well as the view of eating in the inclusive restaurants. The drinks at both bars were very good. Entertainment was good at night and the staff tries to get you engaged through out the day with different activities. Very happy with our 7 day stay.

There was more than adequate staff. The property is immaculate. Very clean and well maintained. My drawbacks are. A safe should be included instead of paying per day. The hot water and tv are hit or miss. All the proteins in the main dining area are over cooked unless you request them to prepare something specific for you. I think they could do more in nightly entertainment since there is not much to do locally. Also very few staff are bilingual. So knowing spanish would be advantageous to you. But all in all. One of the very best properties I've visited in the caribbean. When I booked the trip. I specifically indicated to expedia that I wanted Punta Cana. I guess that just meant the airport. I thought bayahibe was just an area of punta cana. But i cant complain it was beautiful. Only one staff member was rude, everyone else was excellent. Security was top notch. If you plan to go there book Romana airport. To and from PUJ is $100 US each way. I would definitely go there again.
