Very clean and quiet hotel, pool is decent size and clean. Breakfast was served promptly, fully refilled every now and then so there's plenty of food for everyone. Sylvan Lake is a beautiful place to stay, short distance to the lake makes for lovely evening walks.

Pleasantly surprised at the layout of the room. There was a love seat that became a double bed and a chair. A wall separated the sitting area from the "bedroom" area which had a king bed. The bed was firm but comfortable. The room had a good size fridge, microwave, coffee maker (pods only), and blow dryer. Everything was clean. Good pressure in the shower, but the fan left a lot to be desired.
The pool and hot tub were great. Good sized pool with a tunnel slide my son loved! The pool towels were thin and tiny but the pool area was clean and tidy.
Staff were friendly and helpful. The hot breakfast included scrambled eggs and sausages and your typical toast, oatmeal, pastries, cereal, and it had 2 waffle makers. Overall enjoyable stay for my family.

CONS: 1. Bathroom fan worked poorly
2. Hot breakfast was only available on Sunday. I booked this hotel specifically because of the pool and breakfast so I was disappointed. Would like to see clarification on website that "hot" breakfast only on weekends.

It’s definitely one of the better hotels in Sylvan Lake. Most of them are old, dirty, and rundown. This was a A pleasant surprise.

Couch cushions had no foam left in them, deck chair definitely saw better days, matress old but still comfortably and breakfast options could have been better but it was free. For how much this hotel costs i would have expected better furniture. Will probably try a cheaper,newer hotel in Red deer next time.

Lovely property but what is with the signs? Someone has left ‘do not do’ signs everywhere made from a printer. Makes the property seem unfriendly. Breakfast was ok, but it was obvious they weren’t refilling the hot food. Property could just be a little more customer friendly but not a bad stay.

The room we had was large and clean and had a fridge and microwave. It was a suite so had a couch and chairs. I found the hotel quiet but we were there during the week. Lobby and elevator was a bit dirty. The coffee table in the room has seen better days but all in all it was good. I am a bit of a clean freak. The front desk guy could have been more friendly but did tell us all the information needed.

The hotel is fine if you are looking for the basics. It is quite a distance from the lakefront where all the restaurants and beaches are, and is in the industrial area. The room was ok, but the bed was too hard for my liking. Also the toilets are very low to the ground. There was a pool, but I did not like the people who just sat there gawping who had no intention on swimming, not quite sure why people do that!

Loved the large waterslide in the pool - particularly that it was operating on a weekday! Most hotels with this feature it only operates on weekends - so this was a great bonus for the kids. Had we know the local movie theatre was directly beside the hotel we probably would have planned to arrive a bit earlier & have a movie night out as well- it looked unique & different from the big corporate cineplexes.

Loved the family room which includes a separated area with bunk beds. It’s nice to be able to put the kids to bed and spend sometime relaxing with the lights on in the grownup room. Great selections for breakfast, and the kids loved the pool!

Hotel & furniture is starting to show its age - mattress could use an update as it was warped and very uncomfortable, and could use a few more towels in the rooms, but everything was fine as we were mostly out of the hotel for the day. The pool was great for kids and kept clean.

Tv in room broken. Two out of two chairs broken. Lamp broken. Outer door loose and tenuous hold at best. Tv was replaced and then no signal so still no tv. Chair replaced with another broken one. Luggage rack held together with straps. Breakfast was a joke. Cheap and uninterested owner.
