Excellent hotel

Arrived 1am welcomed by our toilet/shower so dirty and look disgusting. Complained in the morning when we woke up they promised to clean it didnt even offered to transfer us to another room. For a spa hotel i usually go this is sub standard the welcome 1st floor was grand smells so nice just like any other spa hotel but cleanliness is not ok. Also the swimming pool so small and needs to be refurbished the paint of it is fading already that it makes is look so old and not inviting to swim.

Cleanliness wise all good no issues other than the minor marks which is expected. Staff were very helpful but the staff at the restaurant were rude. Sat down with a soda bottle and some crisps to watch football on the screen away from the restaurant dining area and told to move away due to health and safety. Understandable but a rather weird approach. An issue for me was that the spa and steam room is expected with the price but this was rejected and told to pay at entrance. Additionally, same issue with breakfast even though Expedia notes breakfast is included with the price but evidently, this was not the case. Breakfast was also not worth the extra price, but would be considered a somewhat reasonable addition if included with your hotel fee. Finally, don’t forget that lights and electric go off at midnight downstairs so if you linger in after 12 and decide to take a breather in the lounge, expect a dark few moments ahead. Overall 2 out of 5.

My stay at the hotel was very nice 👌. Assuredly it was my second visit there because of my experience at that time.
